Such a horrible way to talk of my religion...Dark side of santeria?

Listen palo is a religion in and off itself. It does not require boveda, or any osha at all.

Dark? No. Palo deals with pure, raw, powerful energies. They have no affiliation to good or bad. They are whatthe practitioner uses them for.... If i use palo for bad, then my nganga is a dark nganga, if i use it for good then it is a light nganga... Or was we call them jewish(dark) / christian(light)... But even then, that is a completely insane categorization...

Jewish(dark) ngangas are not limited to just doing bad, they can do good. What makes them "dark"? Other, new-age practitioners have decided that an nganga must have a crucifix on it to be good, one that does not have one must be bad. Older practitioners laugh at the notion because palo predates christ, so how does one determine that his cross means anything to us?
