Deities from different pantheons often fight however so working with them at the same time might be hindered

There is a thing that various "pagan" religions have the same gods under different names.

Kemetic and Norse/Northern deities do not fight, they are quite far apart from each other/have nothing to do with each other. Whilst there is an Isis in the North, Isis there isn't the same as Aset of Kemet/Egypt.

As for " There is a thing that various "pagan" religions have the same gods under different names. "

Again, Kemetic and Northern deities are quite far apart from each other/have nothing to do with each other. They do not have the same gods under different names.

"Similar to" is not the same as "the same as". Hethert and Frejya have totally different cosmologies, they do rather different things (Freyja is known as the practitioner of Seidr, whilst it is Aset/sis who is known as the pracitioner of heka). Reshep is actually not a fully Kemetic deity, he's a cross over as he came from Syria.

The same can be said of any attempt to make all the gods equate to other gods. It's like someone who really needs glasses not wearing glasses; it's clumsy, fuzzy, and only kind of works.

It matters not whether you worship both, you follow your own path. You can guide yourself without others or their opinions, learn to lead yourself, the only thing that could stop you is your own self, best of luck. Blessed be!

I know this is old, but... Who cares if it's acceptable or not? Society's view does not have to be yours. It's your spirtual path, not someone elses

Precisely, no one should interfere with your belief, no matter if they have any sort of thing against it, even if they think they could control your belief, only you can actually do so.

pop up zombie forum :P

i think they refer to the religion attacking her beliefs. its a risk when you mix beliefs. i have a friend who loves both christainity, and satanism... it took her a while to sort that out, but... maybe its because you dont know what you want. maybe its not both gods/goddesses/etc clashing, but that you cant find the balance.
