What amir says is true .its a basic druid teaching after quiet some mastery you can control alot of functions of the human body by mere thought and willpower. This is a theory but if someone does not know exactly what they are doing they can do this to themselves inadvertently when concentrating hard you can cause parts of.your to heat up I believe the person was using the point of contact as a focus point and feeling the light heat from body contact they unknowingly heated up that spot on their body
And before you start thinking I'm a crackpot here's a little experiment . this theory works both ways hot or cold. Take an item like a penny stock it in a fridge or freezer for about ten minutes ( amount of time not really important as long as its cold) now take the item and set it the back of your hand and concentrate on the felling of cold not the item and how it feels just the cold sensation .once you can can grasp the sensation apart from the item ,keep the sensation in your mind and then concentrate on your hand(body part doesn't matter just easier the more controlled the area is) after a few minutes the entire hand will become cold .after you have succeeded useing the item as a focus point and you can totally grasp the sensation without the focus you will be able to do it without touching something cold /hot. The same works with heat though I don't suggest touching something extremely hot being near it close to the body part in question should suffice until you grasp the sensation when working with heat. If you succeed you have just grasped the theory of "Mind over Body" the process can take quiet a few tries but its not very hard to master until you progress to the entire body.
What you are talking about isn't something magickal, it is simply your mind playing tricks on you.
If you focus on a body part too long it starts tingling and feeling strange.
Focus on your breathing and you feel as though you can no longer breathe without thinking about it.
The same applies here, nothing magickal is occuring, it is simply your mind playing tricks on you.
This girl was not being hurt by the heat, more likely the pressure causing heat.
You don't believe my theory and I'm perfectly OK with that ,I was actually saying it was not magic also controlling your body does not require magic it just requires a heightened sense of awareness and concentration ,but on a quick side not Rikki try my experiment and use a laser non contact thermometer to shoot the degree change on the opposite side of the hand not the point of contact and then let me know how your results end up . I have tested this theory before I go shooting my mouth off. Check out the wim hof method ,pranyama , g-tummo, research buddist monks ,they have even initiated numerous scientific experiments proving the theory. Feel free to mail me with your results or if you would like to continue a debate on this h20fanrikki. But I don't want to tie up this thread over a dispute that doesn't fully encompass this persons question so feel free to start a new on on the subject and I will more than willingly hash it out with you ,and who knows maybe we will both learn something new.
Merry meet!
Also if you were focusing your energy you could have produced heat through manipulating energy. Whenever I work my hands will get significantly warmer and my body in general is rather warm. I doubt she is pranking you.
What Taizer says is true. Its called thermal regulation, its just a practice that many humans don't do anymore. Anyone who tells you its fake hasn't research well enough. Thermal regulation is often considered a myth by people who think its magic but the US army does it. that's how their special ops can retain normal human temperature in the cold. It truly is a "super power" all humans have, its just something many people ignore, so although you aren't the only one with it, you would still be special if you mastered it.

Charles, you may believe anything you wish to believe. But it will not necessarily be true! Nobody says you are a fake for believing something. But anyone with any sense may say that the belief is not true. Many a young girl believes that they can become a mermaid. But it will not be true!
I'm just going to point out that there is a guy who has gotten the hang of thermal control to such a degree that he went up Everest in boxer shorts. True story, no belief required.
