There are no documented proofs of physical mermaids, nor does evidence exist to support a theory of their existence, but this doesn’t merely change the simple belief that they could exist. No, there’s no documented or public proof (well actually there are some documented encounters, and some acclaimed pictures, but it’s up to your belief in those products). How can you ever be sure that they don’t exist though? You can’t see air, but it’s surely there. Now, I’m talking about the grander scheme of things. I wouldn’t say they DO exist, I don’t know that, but I definitely wouldn’t scream that they CAN’T exist.

When I say "exist", I mean on the Physical Plain.
