Early age astral projecti

I remember when I was very young I had an experience with astral projection. I was sleeping or trying to go to sleep and I remember floating above the bed and I could see my body lying there...still in bed. It was crazy! Now in my dreams I fly all the time but I still cannot control anything.... Your experience with the footsteps and screaming stuff souds like something messing with you.
