Summoning Lusifer

You should perform an evocation. You could always use his sigil, if you're new to evocations.

I do not, under any circumstances, recommend that anyone with less than a couple years worth of experience studying this field and the fields that surround it, should attempt or set out to achieve the ambition of summoning anything. Serious mental, physical, and emotional damage can occur and has occurred both for amounts of time varying between long and short.

In layman's terms, don't do it you will get hurt and this applies to more than just Lucifer. Don't invite what you can't dismiss. If you do end up summoning him without the proper precautions and safeguards in place, he is manipulative and he knows how to get what he wants, whatever it is. That's my personal experience with him and others will have their own.

If you are serious about this what I will recommend is that you start by studying his origins. Understand where he comes from and why that has helped shaped who he is now. Get to know and understand him like you would a stranger that you jive with. Continue doing this but once you've built yourself up a basic understanding start studying banishing. You're doing it the other way around right now. Study banishing and try to understand and recognize where the precautions and safeguards come into play. Look into different sorts of banishings and memorize them. This being done studying summoning from there; what to expect, other people's experiences, methods, etc etc.

It'll take time but if you do it right, you will be successful.
