Does mental shifting have effects? I have done mental and astral shifting, so im wondering.

@ Frenchfrye mental and astral transformation is different [as is when people go through a spiritual "transformation" or decide to go on a diet and exercise to loose weight, and when people have surgery to change something about themselves] these aren't physical changes you just willed into happening. mental shifting happens in your mind, and doesn't effect natural laws, as well as astral transformations which takes place on another plane of existence that doesn't adhere to the law of nature like the physical plane does. on the physical magick is ruled by nature, and since humans can't wake up and go "i want to be a cat" and turn into a cat, a spell won't either because it contradicts nature.

@ darkfox2 because some people think it's "cooler" to be a glow-in-the-dark vampire were-swan that's invisible and shoots lasers from its eyes [yes that sounds ridiculous, but over the years i've been asked for some pretty out there spells] they don't want to be human, they want to be "special" but in order to be "special" they need to do some soul searching, connect with their inner self, and discover who they are and what they want, but that's hard, and scary, and takes forever, so it's just easier to say this chant and become a vampire. that's basically the same, right?
