After reading a couple of the other replies to eyesbabyblue’s post I thought it is important to note that the point of using our abilities is to make ourselves, our energies, attractive so someone would, of their own free will, be drawn to that energy.

Animals in nature do this by displaying their plumage, bird song, mating calls, scent glands or ritualistic mating dances.

Humans are still animals, we do the same thing weather consciously or unconsciously. Trying to look our best, putting on makeup, dressing sharp, just the right perfume or cologne, flirting, behaving seductively, driving a nice vehicle or having cool stuff.

Whether or not you subscribe to this specifically yourself as a species we do it. Just watch an evening of commercials to see a whole bunch of examples, lol. We are trying to attract someone, it is the meaning of the word “Attraction”

The point is our abilities through magic are another means to put our energies out there to attract. A lover, a friend, a certain type of encounter or to overcome an obstacle by making yourself open for a solution. If the energy you put out there does not do what you intended, does not attract who or what you wanted then the energy you put out did not appeal to the other person. it was not right, it did not attract and will dissipate.

If it is your intension to use your abilities to bend the will of another to your own then that is wrong! It is invasive. Not much different than assault really. This will more than likely blow up on you. It will result in unintended and negative consequences and in that instance you kind of deserve the result.
