No offense to anyone, but the spell requests are also the most ridiculous things I have ever seen.
I know, personally, I have turned to magik for dumb things when I was younger. And every last one backfired on me. I'm glad it did to, or I would not have found my path.
Perhaps the type of requests are due to life experiences...or rather the complete lack thereof.
For me I only cast spells approximatley once or twice every 2 weeks. I mostly do kinesis. But this is why I HATE modern day witchcraft, because most of it is low magick (which is magick that affects the physical world around us in a basic way, so it's basically getting through everyday life) and people these days often use low magick like once every 2 days or so, so that they can cheat their way out of the pains of life most of the time. If a person keeps doing that then the magick will eventually stop working. Using low magick occasionally is okay espeacially if it's for a crisis but exclusivley is just wrong.
Honestly, until I joined this site, I was unaware people actually chose their path for any reason other than the betterment of self (even for the sake of others.)
Wars that have not come to pass. Becoming mythical, extinct, or fictional creatures.
Now, I just can't put anything past people. People are willing to change their entire way of life because they care enough to be hateful because they feel wronged, even if no one is at fault. Holy hateful humans, Batman!
They serve a purpose, though. They make me more appreciative of the people with even half a brain, and make it easier to pick out the ones who are on a path to self-betterment.
By the way, I suppose there are some pretty ludicrcous spells that I've been asked! I even made a list of them lol:
Is there a spell to close windows?
Is there a spell to make someone wet themselves?
Is there a spell to stop 2012?
Is there a spell to speed up my computer process?
Is there a spell to get a penalty in fottball whnever I want?
Is there a spell to make me stop being an emo? (I personally think spells to alter your personality are ridiculous. You just THINK they've worked so therefore you've shifted it by yourself!)
Is there a spell to get more candy on Halloween?
Is there a spell to make my teacher not see my unfinished homework?
I mean it's so pathetic! Do people really think there's a spell for everything?
Ok! LOL, So I am not the first to notice this? I rarely cast spells, the last one I cast was over a year ago and I only do so when it works in harmony with nature. I hate going against the grain so to speak because the spells usually don't work when you do or they backfire on you, one or the other.
Also add is there a spell to transform me from a boy to a girl and noone have andy memory of it,and Is there a spell to Freeze a room full of people, and Is there a spell to reverse time to before I wrecked my Car.I am so glad to see this post.I though I was just drawing all of them to me.Another thing that bothers me is they all want to start at the top,and no one wants to learn the basics first....Peace(boy I feel better now)
That's true. Most people due low magic. For the few that does higher magick it serves some purppse but it just in the way of higher learning. I have a suspecion that they think doing a ritual is way to hard. Course than I think high magick isn't in style as some as the young ones would say
High Magick is what i use on a day to day basis for improvement of self, i never suffer myself with fixed rituals or spells though, i work with pure energy, after a while of manipulating and channeling energy it becomes a way of being. To me high magick is anything that brings about serious changes in my conciousness, thus something as simple as kundalani meditation becomes a powerfull tool which melts into one with your everyday life, but i agree Nosdan, high magick is something that way too many people don't understand and thus don't explore, plus what is harder to do for a ego driven mind than to let go of the worldly to ascend past it, never thought i'd say this like a typical crazy old man but kids of today "just don't get it".
