The thing people forget is that since they aren't human and don't have to reproduce they probably wouldn't have that certain body part/s (which to them would be useless) that would define them as male or female, so the one god would be genderless.

Do you practice being wrong, because you are good at it. Without light(photons) everything still exists. Dark and Bright(Opposite of dark) are human perceptions of an effect, which happens to be the change of energy between atoms and photons. Essentially everyobject in the universe has no colour until it is percieved by an outside observer. While it is possible that with out light everything would be black, it is equally possible that everything would be pokadotted and smeared with vulgar words written in italics. But seen as no human has ever seen a universe without the presents of photons, such a universe is inpercieveble to us.
Again male and female are human words, and poor ones at that. God has no gender has we think of it. It will take more than a mortal mind to percieve the extent of a being that created everthing from nothing.

As for Yin and Yang, you a misinterpetting it. The symbol means not that everything must be good with a little bit bad or vice versa or nothing canbe, but that good has the potential for bad and this potential defines choice, that we regardless of our nature are capible of good or evil. But be assured that good can indeed exist without evil, but evil cannot exist without good.

just to give my two cents worth, nothing is the absence of everything, now if you take everything away what are you left with, pure nothingess, pure darkness. One you are referring to is the concept of Khaos, once again i throw this in there, if conciousness became aware of itself within the nothingness it would grab onto the notingness, thus the nothingness would become something and solid, otherwise khaos/god would never have been anything more than a random floating etheric fart, darkness is what gave form, understand as well the concept of duality, where there is one there is the other, when awareness spawns it does so in a pair, a balance is thus created, so as nothingess became something it also become something else (hehe, ooh i love sounding crazy) masculine and femine, light and dark, yin and yang however you wish to view it, this is where the concept of the God and Goddess come in, and for anyone who believes there just to be the one single entity think for yourself, the old man would have had to really enjoyed playing with himself to get everything manifested and going, it is impossible, to create a physical soul, a vessel, there needs to be the light as the spark and the dark as the form.
Darkness may be a perception, but it is also much more, it is not evil nor good, it just is, of all forms of energy it is the one with the most solidity, but yes, also the easiest to lose yourself in because of it's vastness.

Nothing is balanced, darkness spreads far more then any light, in and throughout the universe. Absence of light is dark, and light does not just exist as darkness does, it must be created thru a source, which is unnatural. Belief in balance is just religion and superstition. Darkness rules and consumes all, and always has.
