Either people are in it for heaven and Jesus is just they're way there. Or there in it for Jesus, and heaven is they're way to eternaly be with him.
Religion is something that a true christian shouldnt have. They shouldnt follow a religion but rather christ. And if they did then there would be no hatred.
If a true witch loved all of creation they wouldnt have hatred either, but its human to hate. I know many witches who hate christians and who have ben incited to violence in the past.
As you keep saying "christ" rather than Jesus, you sound more Christian than Pagan. What I am trying to say is that most Christians "try" to act on the teachings of Jesus. The idea of heavenly rewards is more Saul of Tarsus than Jesus. I know that there must be many Christians who haven't been inside a church for years, but they still try to live by the moral standards not just of Jesus, but also of the original ten commandments. Very few succeed, of course, but many do try!

As a side note to the conversation at large, the term "christ" can be applied as "Christ conciousness" or a state of enlightenment. Ie Jesus Was a Christ.
I would also like to mention that fleeing ones inner shadows only makes them fester in the deeper parts of the mind. Far better is it to embrace both light and shadow, and become all the better for it.
Completely agree Flagg. It is important in my shamanic practice to face your inner shadow and even shadow totems to become stronger. I think the problem is most people are afraid of what they will find.

I don't see a need to hate christians... heh. I used to frequently go to dinner parties my neighbors would throw, and they would invite their pastor as well. He and his wife (as well as my neighbors) are some of the kindest, funniest people I know. The live the teachings of Jesus.
I felt a need to address this now i did not bother to read everyone's posts but one of the most sensible statements said is by flagg. Christ consciousness or crystal consciousness (see indigo and crystal children) There is no need for christians and witches to hate each other, for you are all human and have to progress in this universe together, people who condemn witchcraft are people who have been conditioned to repulse their highly spiritual nature, its not entirely their fault so its our duty to try our best to educate our selfs more about spirituality in general so they can see the light more and more, if you give love then so you shall receive it, it may take time but have patience.

well what witchcraft or any magickal work is using your own energy to interact with the earth's energy because we are energy ourselves!
its just due to people maliciously misleading a generation of people they began to decline and loose their high spiritual nature and loose they real aspect of whom god is, i have seen so many argue about who serves one god and who serves many, well i tell you it makes no sense to argue since you all worship the same being, just by different names and interpretations. ill be happy to dig deeper but ill rest at this for now
