When I speak of Evil, I mean they have the intent to harm humans and animals.
I guess I'm speaking from Biblical definition of Evil. I guess in a way like all spirits they do what they have to do to survive. Spirits needs energy to survive (everything needs energy), so for some the easiest way to get this energy is through fear. So I guess when I speak about 'evil', I mean if they have the intent to harm people and animals both physically and mentally.
There's another question, I was asked this when I was in high school. What makes murder wrong? Without the law, morals, or religion, what makes murdering another human being wrong?
But that's the thing, what makes it 'wrong'? It really depends on your definition of wrong. If it weren't for law and morals, a lot more murder would happen.
If the entire human population wiped themselves out, the universe would still go on as it does. Right and wrong, good and evil, these are constructs. We made them. We don't like pain, therefore it shouldn't be inflicted on anyone. We fear death, therefore it shouldn't be inflicted on anyone. Personally, I don't see what killing anyone achieves. As for the comment that if there were no laws against it, everyone would be killing, that is false. A killer is going to kill, regardless of laws. They know it is deemed wrong; they simply do not care. Anyone that is inclined to do something dubbed heinous doesn't need anyone's permission to do so. There may be a small minority that hold back due to fear of legal consequences, but those same people have existed in places with no laws regarding it. If not for fear of legal ramifications, fear of retaliation might stop them. Or of being judged. Regardless, humans as a whole are an altruistic species. If pushed, we will kill one another for our own survival and the survival of those closest to us, but most of us don't go seeking out people to kill. Laws didn't always exist, and yet we still exist despite that. Seems like we didn't go around clubbing each other over the head for sport on a regular basis.
Honestly nothing is really good or evil it just depends on how you see it and Demons tend to be fairly neutral and also keep in mind that many of them are in fact Gods from other Religons who were Demonized
Treat them with respect and they will show you the same respect and only work with them when you feel a calling
Finally, do not work with a Demon and think that they're evil or a monster because that's how they'll show themselves to you, just like other Gods
Demons are not evil...its due to christian misconception that they are generaly perceived as evil,as we know like attracts like our beliefs and expectations naturally attract evil to us in accordance with the natural law of attraction.but these evils are not done by demons but by our unconcious belief in evil.
To answer your question think about this, "Is there truly, a good and evil?" The answer is no. There is no such thing as "good and evil". They are a concept created by mankind in order to force ideals upon one another under the guise of moral and societal standards. Everything just does what it's meant to do. How do you hold something's nature, something that it has no control over, against it? It's almost prejudice.

So serial killers, rapists, child molesters, those people are just acting solely on their 'design' and how they were meant to be? How do you justify, honestly, that something is not evil? I believe good and evil can be a muddled term, and the barriers can often cross, because 'light & dark' doesn't always mean good and evil. Light does not always mean good, and Dark does not always mean evil. But at the same time, there are people , and creatures of all kinds are just simply inherently evil.
Demons can be pretty tricky when it comes to this kind of topic. There are a few different categories that they could fall under: Fallen angels, demons, demon born, and grey areas.
Now to start off, the basic sense of a demon are usually evil. Demons are the most hostile type of spiritual entity that you could encounter. They tend to enjoy toying with humans to put it lightly, but are also greedy and tend to capture souls to make themselves more powerful.
"Demon born" is something that results from being the offspring of a demon. They tend to fall into a grey area since they are not entirely demon. There are two distinct types though. One that is "physically born" from the result of sexual intercourse with a demon. The other being a human that has a "fragment of a demon" left in them from a demonic encounter/possession causing them to become a human with demonic traits.
"Fallen Angels" aren't necessarily angels that were damned to Hell when siding with the devil after he rebelled. Rather they are angels that have fallen from grace. Because of this fallen angels can usually lean either way. They are one of the beings that can fall into either category.
Now the grey areas are a bit complicated. There are some demons and demonic creatures that don't entirely fit as either completely good or entirely evil. This can vary on the particular being though and normally doesn't apply to demons in the "hierarchy."
