My very first spell was with the help of Hecate. Wow,she is very powerful. I just did it about 2 weeks ago on the new moon. And a couple days prior leading up to it. And the results were 100, times more than i expected. I will be studying her in much more detail now. And have gained even more respect for this practice and lifestyle change i have decided to follow. It is truely amazing. I am trying to heal a dying pine tree right now. Its a beautiful tree with much life using it,squirrels, birds of all kinds. I am sure Hecate will help with this, but i am having hard time finding a spell,so i think i will have a mix of some. Anyway. I love Hecate!
Hecate is known to be very strict and give you many many trials. Be weary when meditating, make sure to observe everything around you and treat her with respect.
Hecate is the goddess of witchcraft, mystery's, and necromancy. Occult matters are here domain. am a faithful follower of the Hecate and often pray and burn incense to her. Sometimes a use a drop or two of my own blood as an offering to he. ( which is something because I am not really found of the who blood magic thing)Heck, I even have constructed an alter out in my woods dedicated to her. Because of this I have a strong and good connecting to her that helps me greatly with my magic. She often answers my prayers and blesses me with good luck. Once, in a ritual I was working I called out to Hecate to give me the power to work the spell and she gave me incredible power, more than I needed. Sadly, that power was only temporary but it was an incredible sensation non the less. I often work with Hecate through my tarot cards, invocations, and sometimes dreaming. Hecate has helped me with many a problem. All though she can be tricky, hard and even cruel sometimes she is a great goddess and a great ally if you approach her in the right manner. Anyway, that's how I see her.
Hecate has been in my thoughts lately so I'm always interested in what people have to say about her. As Queen of the Witches she would be the one to contact. Go straight to the top.
Hecate represents the aspects of the Triple Goddess: "goddess of fertility and plenty; goddess of the moon; and goddess of the night and the underworld." I think because she encompasses so much, she is attractive to many witches. Hecate is portrayed as "the most powerful- who could give plenty or destroy totally." Since she is so powerful I can see why so many wish to be close to her and to have her as their personal deity. I think her ability to completely destroy is overlooked. People tend to only want the good or the power but never the consequences. She is known as an "underworld goddess" and as a Goddess of the Dark of the Moon. Typically, spell work, casting, ect. is not done during the dark moon. Instead, many choose to recharge, rest, and or use the time to think/plan. When it comes to working with Hecate, I personally prefer to take the dark moon time to acknowledge her power, give thanks, and pay tribute to her. Things that are said to be sacred to Hecate are, "key, rope, dagger, torch, cauldron, dogs, owls, and wild animals." For those wishing to connect to her, maybe use some of the listed items while trying to do so.

Side Note: Below is a website that I am working through. It has a lot of information about Hecate. Enjoy! https://inanna.virtualave.net/hekate.html
Side Note for the Side Note previously stated. I do not condone literal sacrifices to Hecate (as mentioned in the website listed, in the past dogs were sacrificed to her).https://inanna.virtualave.net/hekate.html
