Actually, your element isn't the one you are most comfortable with. It's the one which chooses to work most closely with you. On the otherhand, you proably feel most comfortable with the one who works most closely with you so it's a moot point isn't it?
To gain skill and be more comfortable with ALL the elements, take a month or so with each element, introduce yourself, work magick with it, meditate upon it, etc. It's worth the effort and time. It will greatly improve your Magick.

Of course. Whatever your most comfortable with I guess is basically to one that works with you.

There's actually a science to it. There's too many different aspects to your astrological charts to base it solely on youe sun sign. The best way is to see which elemental personality you match best to. Here's the list:
Air: Logical and intellectual.
Fire: Passionate and confident.
Water: Emotional and Dramatic.
Earth: Practical and patient.

When I talk to an element, I will visualize the Elemental Spirit for that element, such as for Earth, I see myself in conversation with a Gnome, or for Fire, (Mine own Element, naturally!) Salamander. Believe me, It's worthwhile to become friends with all the Elements. But do it carefully, some Elementals are known to be testy and volitile. Always be sure to send them on their way when you're thru talking and always be very respectful.
