If the spell seems lacking its because most others need some sort of concentration, such as candles, incense, this is not a spell but a chant. Worked better for me and its the closest thing I know to a basic spell form. Keep in mind I do add energy and visualization.
I like candles but they dont allow me to focus, say if someone couldnt find candles how do you suppose they would be able to find that level of concentration

Crimsonfae because I was new to magick and had to ability to use spells but not the knowledge to know how they worked. Nor did I even recognize the term energy manipulation into existence at the time. Preferably not to mention the external turmoil of my life at the time. Put simply it was not my time to know.

PS concentration, for me, comes from self induced trance or simple visualization. I only use candles in ritual magick or summoning of spirits, I don't see a use for them otherwise. But everyones different so this may not be the case for others.

Also It didn't take me four years to learn how to use energy manipulation, only to understand what i was doing. Technically I was a practitioner for five years now. I do not officially count the first year as it was more of a transition phase than anything. I did, however at the time have a girlfriend, my first to be specific. I felt feelings I've never experienced in that time, I was also young and foolish. I believed while me, her, and my best friend were taking a walk, that he was trying to steal her from me, of course i was wrong but this is irrelevant. I began to use my intense emotions to summon a storm out of practically thin air. We ran back to his house, she got a little sick, but I knew it was my fault. I felt terrible, I realize I'm getting off topic now. Point is I was able to use magick without words before I even knew what I was doing but I don't think that counts as true knowledge.
Look there's nothing much to discuss here. Weather spell does not depend on how powerful the caster is, etc etc. It depends on the prevailing weather conditions mainly.
Weather magic is not much reliable or appropriate. One cannot control the weather at his will! One can only increase the possibility of the outcome of a certain weather condition at its most. For example, if it is rainy season and cloudy, then casting a rain spell will increase the possibility of raining. But if you are in a desert type place and it is sunny, then a rain spell will/may have no affect. Though its unreliable.
Thats everything you need to know. There's nothing much to debate over it.
