Im not sure if this helps but theres a good book i think that could help you im not sure if my advice is reliable even though ive been studying for 2 years but anyway heres the title:
Wicca a guide for the solitary practitioner by raymond buckland.

Vernificus, I have that particular book, it is a very good book for beginner's I read it when I first started practicing, and it was written by Scott Cunningham not Raymond Buckland.

Yeah a guide for the solitary witch is by Scott Cunningham.. Anyways thats a great book to start with too.

I would suggest "Mastering Witchcraft" by Paul Huson.

in the morning just do meditation for half an hour and say in ur mind, "i am absorbing power from the universe",after every 2 mins,automatically ur spells will start working , u just strengthen ur concentration
