I can't remember everything she told me, but a few of the problems she described were a great amount of instances where various relationships were driven awry, and in the case of her friend, many of those were potential partners. She has also described a heavy weight on her and her close friend, and a feeling of sickness and exhaustion. Those seem to appear more often than the relationship problems, and those problems seem to exist only when they are near the areas where the sickness occurs.

This might seem controversial to some, but its another perspective on things,
parts of this passage is take from the LaVeyan satanic bible regarding psychic vampires, below each passage I have put a meaning.

- Meaning dont let it show that you know what they are up to, although stupidity is a satanic sin, if employed knowingly and correctly to gain the upper hand in a situation, that is a big step in self awareness. Never let them know what you are all about. play dumb!
Teach them a lesson by graciously taking what they give you ,thanking them loudly enough for all to hear, and walking away! In this way you come out the victor. What can he say! And when you are inevitably expected to repay their generosity , (this is the hard part!) you say NO but again, graciously -
- Meaning The offending psychic vampire will always be unaware that you are on to him, Treat him kindly, accept every compliment or material gifts he offers you. But again you have the upper hand knowing what is happening and he is falling in to your trap. And when they expect something in return like LaVey said, simply say no. This is all part of the manipulation process to make a suitable candidate for satanic ritual.
When they feel you falling from their clutches two things will happen. First, they will act crushed, hoping your old feeling of duty and sympathy will return, and when(and if) it doesnt, they will show their true colors and will become angry and vindictive.
- Meaning Once they know that they have no effect or control over you, they will be wondering thinking why?. Then their true colors will show. Like in the passage ( they will show their true colors and will become angry and vindictive). They wont know what is happening, they will be sly plotting a way to get revenge on you, going behind backs. The very fact that the psychic vampire chooses to victimize a happy person shows that he is lacking all the things his victim has; he will do everything he can to stir up trouble and disharmony between his victim and those people they hold dear. But little do they know that they have been manipulated and are ready to be the subject of greater ritual magic.
And if you are a psychic vampire take heed! Beware of the Satanist he is ready and willing to gleefully drive the proverbial stake through your heart!.
Meaning - I think this passage speaks for itself lol
Basically it is saying a satanist will expose you for what you really are...not physically driving a stake through your heart.
So in talking about the actual Vampire.. the one people call a psychic /psi vampire you are actually speaking of the ones that drain peoples energy?..Which in reality does happen.
Yes i agree with the fact that LeVayan definition is different..but in a sense *not really* just as the psychic vampires you refer to drain peoples energy..the same could be said for LeVayan definitions..You will get people in this society feed off others in a sense of it being emotionally done..What it all boils down to is basically the same principle *Taking from others*..but with the LeVayan way it's learning to recognize them and not letting them take your happiness and mooch off your good nature and kindness
I agree to with Gin. In a way, either way, your life is being drained from you. However I don't think this is the thing the post is supposed to help with. As for psi vamps, shielding will help you to protect yourself from them. Newer ones won't be used to more difficult shielding types even if they do know how to break them. And some shields can represent a danger to break. ;) Offensive for example.
I would have to agree to disagree there Said, yes the post is asking advice on how to deal with a situation concerning Psychic vampires... The LeVayan way explains how to deal with a psychic vampire LeVayan style..While the other bit i added was explaining people like UnluckyRaven may see psychic vampires differently.

I'm personally a psychic vampire and so I might be able to help. First off I would like to clear a few things up we can be entities or alive humans. And on that note the psychic vampire that she is facing might be a spirit or somebody who has a problem with her. If it is somebody I'm not sure if I know a way to get rid of them because there are so many different ways to feed, attack someone. Not all of use are bad like every sort of race to speak. Find out if she knows anyone that possibly drains her energy when their near. If not it will probely be a spirit. Then as someone said before bless their house, set up protection spells, and try and become friends with it. But if it is a human then try to become friends with them or do some protection spells.
