Personal Gain, or not?

Do you use your hands, your arms, your legs, for personal gain? Magick to me is like an extra limb. Why on earth Not use it for personal gain? :)

I just think I should use magick to help others, not myself, that's all. And I guess your right... any suggestions on ones to look at?

Agreed. People have been using magick for thousands and thousands of years for personal gain. Why shouldn't we?

I cast a spell once to help us make ends meet, my mom was only getting 400 a month...long story short... a short while later my dad died and she got his 1300 a month. So... Be very careful!

@belladavi: My dad has some mental problems, and can't afford to finish school. There's a local homeless person who collect cans and what not, and since I have a house, I'd rather not take that from him :/ My mom gota job at a local convience store, but she'll only make and extra $30-$50 a month :/ We are trying, but it's been this way for years.

Well said. Work a spell to help your dad find the assistance he needs and work with him to find it. Have you ever heard "Two Heads are Better Than One", well in this case, "Two Methods are Better Than One.
