wow didnt think i'd have such a reaction as i was trying to spread a good atmosphere around because a curse/wishing death on others is never the answer to anything. sisnt think i'd have hatred thrown towards me for trying to be a positive person

I don't think anyone was throwing hatred at you Purplelsis. You just picked a topic that causes an emotional response. Please be more careful about your posting because part of the definition of an internet troll is someone who posts in such a way to cause emotional responses.
As for changing the site may I refer you to the "start here" page;
Here you will see that this site is set up for users of "white and black" magic. (This unfortunately is the best way to differentiate for people who are new to the craft.)
Just remember that what one sees as good magic another can see as evil. The same is true for all opposites, a blessing can be a curse depending on how you word it.
my practing black magic you can better your knowledge of it. i practice "black" magic along with "white" to help better my own skills. but if you think like me magic is magic in any form. "white" magic can be used for hate with enough malicious intent behind it.

Good good. I enjoy this thread. There is some serious debate happening and no one should be getting their feelings hurt.
I wish to point out that even if this site didn't have texts labeled as "curses", curses are a very primitive form magick. It doesn't take learning, or structured words, only focus and intent. When someone is wronged, these are two things they don't need to be taught. Luckily some think they need to know more. Like the words are the important part. I'll tell you right now that if I thought you wronged me, what words come out of my mouth would be the last of anyone's problem. Those are just to make you cry. The damage doesn't start til after I stop talking and start thinking.
i do not think any of us wished ill will upon you.
we are not mad that you came here with good intentions, we are more concerned that you wish to censor this site and the people within to fit your religion.
no one persons morals are better than another, though we are trained since childhood to think so. all morals are, are the current culmination of our experiences, beliefs, and upbringing.
my morals are not the penultimate, and are not the absolute right way everyone should live thier life.
it is right for me, so what right do i have to tell you to follow my morals? and conversely, what right do you have?
i know you believe it would help. but it would not....we cannot censor half of our members.
One rule I live by is "A witch who cannot curse cannot cure". While I don't "curse" willy nilly (actually, I've never actually CURSED someone, more like sent their intentions back to them and also a "truth come out" working that REALLY didn't work in the favour of the person I cast it on), I believe one should KNOW HOW in order to a) learn how to reverse one cast on you and b) it's all about balance--if you don't know the darker aspects, how can you possibly work with the lighter aspects?
I thought the term "black" and "white" bit of the magick was determined by intention and the type of intention is determined by morals?
I just reckon the term black and white is racist...
Can't we try to change it to "positive" and "negative" magick?
