In every culture men have at some point been expected to stand up for their wife or girlfriend. It is an act of honor, a part of chivalry. Although in the modern day females are well known for standing up for themselves and it is widely accepted, in some places even expected, that they do so it is still honorable that a man stand up for his wife. Although I am not a mod I in no way see what Adon is doing as trolling even if I don't entirely agree with either side of the argument.
In his view what you said could be taken as an insult to her. She does not have to be present to be defended. For example, if I were at the mall while my fiance were here(we'd be about twenty or so miles apart, give or take a half a dozen) and somebody told me something as an insult to her I would most likely respond as I would if he had told it to her face. Not because I enjoy violence or am easily insulted, but because in my view I would be doing what is honorable and holding true to the codes of chivalry which I hold so dear to me as well as to my fiance whom I love. In the past insults to a man's wife/fiance could, and often would, lead to a dual and often those duals would be fought to the death. In a past life I participated in one such dual and killed the man who had insulted my wife. To be honest, if duals were still legal then in the example I gave previously(the one with me being at the mall) I would challenge the fool who insulted my fiance to one such dual and ensure that it too was fought to the death. Perhaps some would view this as getting carried away, but that is simply how I am and thus I can not blame anyone else for being similar without also declaring myself a hypocrite.
I definately dont agree with healing someone without their permission, it goes against healing ethics. and NO ONE has the right to force any energy on someone without their permission. However before i was trained as a reiki master i had natrual healing ability and that wasn't taught to me but i did learn more about it from books and stuff, My great grandad was a powerful healer in the carribean and no one taught him. People would come to him from all over.
No matter how natural you are at healing, training is a must to get better and maintain this ability without injury.
Failure to comply will leave this ability in the weak state, not allowing it up to its full potential.
The tools are good to use, they strengthen the ability and its effects.
Training also adds to experience.
and experience is a must.
Defending your love is very noble, but it would be helpful to her to acquire training to strengthen her ability and grow. Natural abilities need some effort put into them in order to grow and strive.
As i have said before....there is no help needed. Some people are just fine at what they do and work on extreme levels. I have met many people who have had training and arent near as good at healing as my wife who has had no training. My point is that some people dont need these basic skills because they were born with that knowledge imprinted in them.
