I don't remember threatening anyone,and why would you close down this thread? Just because its not in your belief system doesn't mean you should look down on it. I thought this site was supposed to be full of free thinkers.

And closing the thread has nothing to do with my lack of belief. I let plenty of discussions continue when I have no faith or interest in them. My issue is with the lack of maturity being presented here. You're all free to think as you want, as am I, but it's my responsibility to keep things running smoothly when arguments arise. You guys could be arguing about peanut butter versus jelly and I would have said the same thing.
Also, there seems to be a lack of information on the topic at hand. Were you inspired by something, or just thought it up? And what techniques are you using to "develop" this? You can see demons, energy, spirits, etc with un-enchanted eyes, and to "steal" an ability is impossible. You would have to steal a person's brain, arguably soul, to truly stop them from using whatever ability they may have. You can steal a car from someone, but this doesn't stop their ability to drive nor does it give you the ability to drive. Who do you know with an ability that is so rare and coveted that you can't be bothered to develop it in yourself?
That wasn't threatening it was saying I am still designing and that I haven't even finished writing the spell. And things are still getting put together and I am thinking about changing thing such as "Stealing abilities" I have rethought to make it into a copycat kind of thing and also I am thinking about making the vision in that one eye extra acute so I would be able to see thing alot easier. and I said seeing demons, spirits, and etc. clearly, because in my experience over 5 years spirits, demons, and etc. the way i always saw them they came in flashing images not clearly.
To me, he is just simply telling people that this spell is still in it's developmental stages. He's still trying to "take out the kinks" or a similar saying.
If he said that if the spell works, he's going to try it on them, then that would be a threat.
We might be able to help you better if you elaborated exactly what you want to do and why. I don't recommend enchanting your eye, it's dangerous. You could damage it and lose your eyesight. Think twice before trying anything too risky.
Detraque, I don't think I am being a *****. What if Nevermore is right? By trying to steal someones psychic ability can kill them because its stealing someones energy which the ability flows in the energy. I hate it when people kill each other, and I wouldn't like Flamevipers to kill someone. Well, he/she is still designing it, so we don't know if it can kill someone or not. If I were plan to design a spell that has a possibility to kill someone, I wouldn't do it.
If your just trying to learn how they use their ability, then you would learn how to develop yourself? Oh, and I agree with the guy two post above me, maybe you'll damage your eyesight.
I think I'll post this for some clairity since everyone seems to be getting a tad emotional and not reading the posts as they are stated.

2. He was posting the question about 'stealing', but is not looking at 'copying' the ability

The forum wouldn't be closed due to what flame said that was threatening, but rather by what the following person had said, our friendly mod merely misread which was which and thus thought it was flame how said it. None the less, her pt is true, that some of the arguing is getting out of hand. This is a place to bounce ideas around, especially those that are being worked on. So lets all just take what is said with some thought, and respond nicely and constructively.

I think I understand what you are trying to do better than some Flame. I have been working on enchanted a pair of sunglasses (not my eye just in case it backfired, lol) to allow me to see auras on a more vivid level. Its tricky, and I think I might have almost all the kinks worked out. I know you need to work a lot with spiritual energy and way to amplify them. I don't know how your approaching this, but for myself, since I am using sunglasses, I am using certain oils mixed to enhance the enchantment on the glasses. (I have gone through about 10 sunglasses so far) Since you are focusing on your eye, I couldn't tell you what exactly you would need to do.
As far as the copying abilities thing, I couldn't help you there. Anything I want done I either do myself, or work on being able to do myself.
Yeah I have been taking into acount that the spell could damage my eyesight. But I am not going to do the spell on myself intil i have fully worked out all the kinks
