I do not believe astral travel is easy, but I also believe that a person can achieve it. You shouldn't be afraid to leave your body, and there are many positive experiances to be had from doing so.
The person with the negative mindset will find bad wherever they look, including the astral realm. People with a general mindset of positive nature, or even a mindset of "if I don't bother it, it woln't bother me" do not have half as many issues with life or magic. Like attracts like, so they say.
Any intelligent person would ward/shield their body before projecting, thus negating the issue of possession. Besides, our will is strong enough that only by accepting possession can we truly lose control. We have to give up control in some manner to not be able to have what is utterly ours.
Astral death usually translates to violently waking up. Very Very rarely does it even pass on physical damage, and then 9/10 times it would be a mark as if a scratch. Otherwise we would have a high mortality rate from dreaming, after all the Dreamscape is simply a lower area of the astral sea.
As for being attacked, if you can astral project surely you can defend yourself. If not how did you manage to advance so far in energy manipulation in the first place?
As for the silver cord, it is Theorised that cutting it would kill you. I've never met a person whom had their cord cut or even damaged. Besides this, it is really only a theory and what would have the potency to so damage us? The violent beings that people encounter simply attack the astral body, and the result is what it is. Again, it would come back to a series of freddy krugar like dream deaths, as dreams are a form of projection too.
It seems to me that for a person advocating emotional disattachment you tend to be quite aggrivated in your writings, and indeed seem to intentionally take a stance and speak in manners Intended to provoke. If this is so, then prehaps you intend to cause arguement regardless of whom and how you are interacted with? As well, if you feel astral projection is neigh impossible why would their opinions on ignoring your advice matter? It also seems that you enjoy assuming that everyone using this website has only this website as experiance in any manner.
That in itself could be taken as insulting, if you intend it to be so or otherwise.I also do not see why a supposed veteran of the occult would be so stingy with information you feel is valid, especially if you truly are concerned with the wellbeing of others as you suggest by your warning.
It also seems like you rely totally on the internet for your sources, and refuse to cite them. How do you expect others to take your words, but at the face value presented?
I would like to conclude by stating that your behavior has been presented in manners that would cause others to disreguard your points of view for many reasons. And instead of attempting to ease the situation you seem quite content to fling insults and exerbate the situation. I don't understand why you feel that insults are more worth your time then spreading around some of your information.
Isn't enlightenment preferable to ignorence? Wouldn't it be better to educate then to simply flaunt the idea of grand knowledge? Such acts are acts of ego, and acts of ego are ever detrimental to the self and to those the acts are perpetrated against.
