Actually, every word is invented to distinct what it represents from something else so you might as well say that nothing exists. Language is an illusion designed to aid communication. Thus, there is a distiction between the meaning of high and low magic. Low magic is spellcasting, superstition, and other fluffy new age working. High magic is Golden dawn material, usage of grimoires and Kabbalah.

A spell is what is in your mind, not in language. You may write a spell, or you may just think it. Either way, if you harness your own energy, and that of the universe, the spell will work. Chanting, writing, singing, are aids. If they help, fair enough; but they are not necessary.

I think that the words of a spell only really serve to give you the intent to do that spell and thus, are really used not for the magic itself but to get your mind on track to perform the right effect.
Not in the least, and anyone can say "You are simply proving my point", however that doesn't mean a thing. Unless you explain how in a way that makes sense, there is no point at all.
Water is water my friend, and you can add color, sugar, salt, brine, whatever, it is still water. Yes you have added something, made a change, but that is merely in the expression, that does not change the what.
Magic is effecting change in reality in conformity with will. If I go out side, see a large rock, and manage too push it, I am performing magic. If I go back outside a few weeks later and manage too push a larger rock, by your definition this is "High" magick, because I needed to be stronger to push it. However that is not what magic is, because there is no magic. If there is no magic, it can not be high or low, and the distinction you are making in the first place is one of semantics as well as simple perception, not a real actual difference. You can add, make it black, white, do what seems like "more" with it, but that is dependent upon the person, not the "thing" itself.
Such classifications as high, low, are just that, classifications, created by those who can't see the big picture, they are creations of smaller minds. There are big waves, small waves, but in truth they are still waves. You can classify a larger wave as more powerful, and indeed it is, but that is not magic. There is no magic.
I can see why people make have the misconceptions they do, and make the mistakes they do by using such terms. It is a foolish mistake, much like believing spells have their own intrinsic power.
There is no magic, once you figure that out, you'll understand it all. Take care.
