By the way xLuna, my pastor knows I practice magic. He supports it and even does the same thing himself. He calls it prayer. You are wrong. Sorry to have to be the one to break it to you but not all Christians are carbon copy televangelists waving torches and pitchforks screaming about 'evil heathens'.

Oh and xluna, your bio says you are 'willing' to learn. Learn from this. Not all Christians are the same.

im a christian witch , and this is my method for making holy water
STEP 1-take a bowl of water and another bowl of salt
STEP 2-place both hands over the bowl of salt.mentally direct your energy into the bowl and say,"may this salt bee pure and that the purity of this salt bless all that it touches".
STEP 3-place both hands over the bowl of water, mentally direct your energy to the bowl and say,"i consecrate this water that all negative conditions be cast out of this water, and that i may safely use this water in my rites".
STEP 4-stir some of the salt into the water while saying,
"together this salt and water will become a powerful instrument to purify and cast out all evil and negativity as i use this holy water in my rites".

Every witch altar will have two small containers;one of water one of salt.This tradition goes back an awful long way! The water and salt represent the sea, where all life began. It also represents the moon; she has many names Queen of Heaven, Diana, etc but she controls the sea. (To some extent;there are ocean currents as well)
The salt also is there to help with spells of "earthly goods"; such as money. This is because salt represents wealth. Many years ago salt was extremely expensive! Roman soldiers were paid in salt. Workmen also,if they were good, were said to be "worth their salt". In fact, the modern term for "wages", is salary;from the Roman word for salt. Salt is very precious to a witch.

You say that magic is a "HORRIBLE" sin in the bible. But the bible also says that all sins are equal. I'm a "Christian in the craft" but i also believe the bible once said "thou shalt not suffer a necromancer to live".

There are also some people who do not have a religion and they don't worship any gods/goddesses but they can still do magic...

Not at all! Some threads need to be brought back, if only for new members who may not have read the original. As for this current thread,far too many quote "The Bible" for Christianity. But then quote the Old Testament, that has nothing to do with Jesus! There is nothing in The New Testament against witchcraft or magic. What do you think the miracles were?

Nonsense! Many devout Catholics cast spells; but they call them prayers. A Catholic will go into church, buy a small candle, light it from the other candles on the rack,then kneel to say a prayer. They have just cast a spell; but are not aware of it!
