Magic has many faces in many religions. ;)

BEst thing to understand that that humanity doesn't and can't understand G-d. Religion itself is made by man, not G-d, and therefore you should not actually take everything in the bible as a divine message directly from G-d, because G-d did not write it, man did. This is mostly for those who directly attacked G-d.

But didn't God tell men to write the bible and how?

The bible was written by divine inspiration, true, but at the same time, even homer's epic was written through divine inspiration. I can inspire you to write something, but you are the one who choses the words to use, the way to phrase it, even how long it all is. G-d INSPIRED man to write the bible, but did not tell them exactly what to write.

But how come the men knew about the many things that occured before their time if they were inspired by god then?

The idea that the Bible bans "magic" as a whole is false. The early texts banned very specific acts, primarily the use of magic for malicious purposes. Over time this was "translated" to mean magic as a whole. Magic was only "bad" when it was used for evil- the Bible was prohibiting the act, not the tool. For a mundane comparison, baseball bats aren't bad even though you could assault someone with one, nor are steak knives evil regardless of how many people you stab with one. Make sense?

And yes Darkked, "inspired by" and "written by" are very different things. The Bible was pieced together from the works of hundreds of authors, all claiming to be "inspired" by God. Likewise, the councils responsible for choosing what texts should be included claimed similar divine inspiration, as did the many councils that came afterwards to "edit" the Bible. That's not even counting the issues of translations- as anyone with more than a basic understanding of a second language would know, words don't swap on a 1:1 equivalency. There's so many opportunities for words to be mistranslated, even by the most honest of scribes. Likewise, a word can have a literal meaning which can accurately be translated but cultural meanings that are lost.
(Note- as a Christian myself, I'm not trying to say there's not some Truth to be found reading the Bible. I'm just saying pack a shovel, because some digging may be needed)

About the 1970's part, God gave you the right mind to know about that time though your mom and dad, who produced you.

You must be reading from a very modernized, and illegitament version of the Bible seeing as magic spelled with a "K" was not a word in the time of Mozes and "wizard" was not at that time used in the context I'm seeing here.

Exodus 22:18 said something more along the lines, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
