The internet isn't always truthful. I know someone who said he purposely goes on Wikipedia and changes things to mess with people. You can't always trust the internet.
My suggestion to the beginners or "Fluffies" (whatever that means), go to your local Library, or Book store, maybe even Barnes and Noble and just sit down and read. You'll get more information from books than you will from the internet.
Thank you. That's a very good example. Yes the dog will still be the dog, but it can still learn new things. Just because you know a lot in a subject, doesn't mean you know everything in that subject. The, "I know everything" attitude goes nowhere in life. Another thing we all are hypicritical it's Human. Tell me I'm wrong on that, I'd laugh at you.
Though I am one who does their best not to be a hypicrital. I do all I can to answer someone else questions with the knowledge I have, heck I even try to find links for people to use. I don't scream, "Google" every time someone asks a question. I like to educate ignorance, no I don't believe in spoon feeding anyone, but some come to this site with no knowledge, and someone asks me a question I do all I can to answer it to the best of my knowledge, and I will even find a link for them. But to turn them away and leave them to learn on their own not even having the slightest clue what they are looking for. Teachers are teachers for a reason, to educate ignorance.
I've been on this site not very long at all but just from the very few conversations that I myself have seen it's full of what you all call "fluffs". People saying they've been resurected and etc. just out-landish claims. The blind can't lead the blind...very far. Theres children and just blunt liars on the chat caliming to know and do things they don't. If I had a question as a "newbie" to this site myself the chat is the last place I would go.

I got to go with Rash and Lady_Luck on this... When I see people get treated rudely on chat forums, it is only because I read that they're vampires or part werewolf or anything ridiculous with that matter. I'm not trying to biased and I see what Zalkari is trying to say, but that really is the only time when I see these kids lie and ask stupid questions. I remember one time some 14 or 13 year old girl ask if anyone knew how to do a "death spell" and that she could do one perfectly. Who does that? There was many teenagers asking me through chat and through personal mail to help them with a love spell for some little boy or else they will commit suicide. Those are the kind of questions that I constantly read that just makes me want to scream at them. I'm not that knowledgeable yet and I have many questions of my own, but like Rash said, I have to look for the answers myself first and if I still don't get the point, then I'll go ahead and ask. As you get older, you have to learn to do things on your own first and be independent before you get reluctant to keep asking for help.
I have made the same observation of what is called "Fluffy" statements being made. Yes as you get "older" you have to do more and learn more on your own, but still you cannot learn everything yourself. This is why there is seven billion people in this world. That is why there are people of different ages. You're right the blind leading the blind will go no where, but others can help the blind see. Though it's each persons choice to learn or to see. Fluffiness I dislike myself, maybe the age required to be on this site needs to be raised to I would say 15 instead of 13. That is an idea.
As a member of this site since the beginning when it was first being established, I have to agree with all of you on this. Zalkari makes a very valid point. I myself have been a teacher for a long time, and know that everyone is going to have questions. You can't just look at something and automatically understand it. Some things you will understand right away, and other things you won't. I know when I first started I had no clue what the difference between stones were. But, I read books, and a few articles online, and voila. Now I know. Still, I get and understand what all of you are saying. The fluffy situation only arrived about two years ago when this site became popular among the "magic" community. I ignore half of them. I am never rude to someone unless they deserve it, and then in most cases that is not true. Everyone deserves respect. Fluffy or not. When teaching on here, I do my best to answer they're questions, and sometimes I will give them links that could possibly explain it better than I can. Heck, just yesterday I had someone ask me about Air Magic, and I gave him a link or two and answered his questions to my full extent. Anyway, I think I'm rambling now. My point is, all of you are right. There are people who know a lot, and people who know nothing at all. As humans, and specifically of this culture, we should help one another out. The only kind of stupid question, is one not asked.
Yes. Now this thread is going to remain open. It's for all issues on chat, it's an issue I believe none has addressed. So I addressed it. Now if you want people to respect you, you must give respect, if you demnd it, good luck too you. I respect all till I'm disrespected. Though insults, indirecty or not, respected each other. You can disagree civily, immaturity is uncceptble.
Yes everyone can post on this thread. Any problems issues you would like to address, observations you have made please post, do not be at all afraid. This is open to all.
