JDF, what you have written is all about religion; a belief in Gods and/or Goddesses. People work with magic that have many other beliefs, many religions, or no religion at all!
I can demonstrate magic, as I have done in Pagan Workshops. But I cannot demonstrate a belief! And neither can you! Anybody who can read knows there are a great many "Gods" in Indian beliefs.
Defiantly there are religions and Gods which I spoke about, but note that majik know as (Jadhoo) is still be practising with help of these gods, as I said it would be making a new post so that i can get comments on that. What I am trying to tell is Spells known as ( Mantra ) in Sanskrit/ Sawiki. Which has been one of the ancient languages/
The pre-Classical form of Sanskrit is known as Vedic Sanskrit, with the language of the Rigveda being the oldest and most archaic stage preserved, its oldest core dating back to as early as 1700 BCE.
This qualifies Rigvedic Sanskrit as one of the oldest attestations of any Indo-Iranian language, and one of the earliest attested members of the Indo-European languages, the family which includes English and most European languages.
Sanskrit, as defined by Pini, evolved out of the earlier "Vedic" form. The beginning of Vedic Sanskrit can be traced as early as 17001200 BCE (for Rig-vedic and Indo-Aryan superstrate in Mitanni) Around the mid-1st millennium BCE, Vedic Sanskrit began the transition from a first language to a second language of religion and learning.
Now there are spells/ Mantras which are in Sanskrit which are very powerful.
Lord Shiva and Durga Maa ( also known as Kalimata) have the 3rd eye and many tantric, aghori , gurus, Sadhus worship them and do majick . It is said that Shiva was the gods of the demons, he use to do heavy drugs and has a snake around his neck. Being pleased by a Raksesha ( King of the demon ) he granted him powers of majic. Who had build a palace made of GOLD in Sri-Lanka.
Well by all this I just would want to pass a message that Majic has been for centuries and these are some information I have.
please do google and see.
I believe everyone has experienced Magic in different ways and a different level.
The k was put there by Crowley because he didn't like illusionists either, and did not want his system of magick to be misinterpreted as that.
I use magick as that is the spelling Crowley used for his system, the archaic spelling, I use his system. Why the majority of the people on this site use that spelling variant is another question entirely!

That link is to Crowley's introduction to book 4 where he shares his theories and definitions of magick. Of course, they are his and are not universally accepted- nor should they be! Everyone is unique.
I was the first time I had read a book and clearly understood what I was reading, instead of reading vomit inducing new age terms.
