Mau, thats a bit uncalled for you think? instead of leaving people ignorant, or insulting them you shiould take the time to explain your reasoning.
Mau means that magick is magick, Color is not important but the will of the caster is. However, it is much simpler to classify magick becuase of it's intended result. White=good black=not so good. So when saying you are interested in black magick you are saying you are interested in the Not Good part of life, some people will look down upon this but the point of black magick is so that one day, you will look down upon them, under your feet eh?
So to you, starting black magick, I would say you might want to wait a bit if 99 is displaying your birth year. The dark arts is nothing for anyone under sixteen to mess with. but if you feel your time to do it has come, and you are completely ready, you will want to start looking at yourself when you get mad...can you stay mad for a while? Hold a grudge on the person you are casting against? Can you stay mad but also stay calm enough to concentrate on your magick? if your answer is noo, you may want to hold off on casting and start by meditating when you are angry. As for starting black magick. I suggest you write your own rituals and follow these simple guidelines:
Make a limit, (on time and how much suffering)
If you don't your victum could end up dying and the spell you create could stay alive and start hurting other people.
Stay mad and calm. This might be hard but it will help with the best results.
make your spell sound cool: if your into the dark stuff like flaming skulls and scary goats chasing little kids, incorperate it into your ritual. add all the bells and whistles you want to your altar. this will result in better concentration cor you.
Wiccan magic doesn't have color. If you're doing Africain magic, then it does have a color. Black magic is the voodoo stuff with the creepy voodoo dolls and things like that. You know that some crazy guy used voodoo to kill his girlfriend's 2 year old son? He had stuck about 30 pins into the boy. Once a week he would take the boy to this place, dope him with alchol and then stick pins in him. Luckly, the police found out and they took the boy to the hospital and they were able to remove the pins from the boy.
Later, they found out that there were 2 other cases of people doing voodoo and putting pins into other people.
Anyways, if that's the kinda stuff you wanna do with black magic, be my guest.
Um, voodoo isn't actually sticking pins in somebody, but rather sticking pins in a poppet, the magick is what simulates the pin in the poppet to the physical pain in the actual person
I se that most here tend to take on only the cursing part of 'black magick'
that isn't all you can use it for. Not all 'black magick' is harming others.
But in many cases, you are 'changing against "free wil" (or stuff like that) '
but not nesseserly in somthing that in the end wil be a bad thing.
Also to 'hide or conseal' somthing from others and so on. Are the 'darker arts' in many cases more usefull.
What I'm getting at is, kind of like doing light. In the result. But by using dark. (or wiht/black)
Gray, that is a very narrow minded view of voodoo and in my opinion no less ignorant than others saying Wiccans worship the devil.
The case you speak of, was that of a woman seeking and paying for magickal assistance and getting garbage given to her in return for money. Not actual voodoo. Infact, a member of an organization to help people understand voodoo spoke out against what happened, how it was not related to their religion and feared how people qould continue to see voodoo as evil and scary.
Magick is magick. The magick you use to heal, is the same you can use to harm...reguardless of culture.
What can actually constitute as "black magick" is used more frequently than people would like to admit.
1) If you want to get started in black magic, i would suggest using it against your enemies or people you wish to influence or control.
2) Voodoo is a religion, not a body of magical techniques. Calling something Voodoo magic is like calling something Christian magic or Hindu magic. There are of course people of ALL major world religions who practice religious magic according to their faith. Adherents of the religion of Voodoo practice trance induction, sacrifices and blessings, and healings much in the same vein as Christians practice meditation/prayer/ channeling the Holy Spirit, sacrifices and blessings, and healings too.
