i agree with angie_gena,i think the christain are the ones that started people into thinking magick is the devil,i live in a family of christains that saids magick is the devil,my mom even seen a pentagram in my room and said it was the devils sign,im only like 25% christain now

it's my understanding that very far back, there wasn't really a devil. pagan practices had deities that represented undesireable things like war and ill fortune and such, but believed that "evil" came from human kind. it was with the coming of monotheism (belief in one god) that one figure was set up in opposition: enter the devil. funny isn't it, that that can hide a person's evil doings by blaming some outside force. Of course it was brought up because someone saw it and decided to reply to it. By the way.. grg, how can you only be 25% Christian? I could have sworn that being a religion was an all or nothing thing. That is why I do not have one. I only have a few beliefs from some religions.

magic is said to represent evil... that was nothing but a prejudice christian priests used to use to manipulate the emotions of fear of the people. witchcraft is a belief that survives for ages much more than the christianity and let the person open up to it self and inner strength

No its not it is what u want it to be I some people are very closed minded and need to know what they are talking about befor theystart putting us down. Magick is as clean as u want it to be.You use your tools the way you see fit.
