in the understanding of the layman and black magic - an evil curse damage. But this is false. With the help of black magic can be treated, to increase its financial condition and other good works. As well as using white magic - you can do evil.
I repeat: there is no black, white, sroy, red magic. as well as does not already exist in white or red feng shui. blue or green Buddhism.

To be honest, the idea of white magic/black magic is entirely a misnomer. Magic is simply a way of working with energies and it has no color. Think of it as being like electricity. Electricity can light your home and keep you warm in the winter. It can also be used to kill or to destroy. But we don't talk about "black electricity" or "white electricity". Electricity is just energy....same as magic is just energy. One uses the same techniques and energy for a variety of purposes. There is an old saying "A Witch who cannot hex cannot heal." What that saying is telling you is that the magic used to hex or to heal is basically the same thing. What matters is the use that you put it to.
In my own practices I don't use the term "black magic". I will speak of baneful magic which is magic that I consider is being done solely for the purpose of causing harm to another. That doesn't mean that I won't, if absolutely necessary, engage in something that might be considered baneful...for instance a binding. But I am always careful to think long and hard before I take action to be sure that there isn't some other way of accomplishing the same goal.
I like to use the terms black/white to describe spells that are either harmful or helpful and selfless or selfish. I'm not a saint but I do like to be selfless and rightous in my magickal workings. I call the forms of magick I work with "white magick". It's just a way of labeling the morality of the genres of magick. I don't call a luck spell "green magick" that's silly but the labels of black/white can be useful to describing what kind of magick you are talking about.
Most people go by the stouped stereo types about "BLACK" magick being all negative and "evil" and "WHITE" magick being all posative and"good" that's why.
Okay, then here's another thing that is kind of making me wonder. If magic is just a way of working energies and there is no Black or White magic, then what would it be called when you only used magic to harm others or you only used magic to help people. There must be a name for that type of magic. People on here, they too call it Black and White. They say this spell is used for Black magic or this is used for White magic. It's very confusing and it is kind of controversial. But thank you all for your replies, I take everything you have told me, in to consideration, Blessed Be and may you find your path it much ease. )O(
After my last post I sat here, and I thought to myself about all these posts, and when I had thought about some of the things I was going to do for good. I realized that it was really for evil. So, I agree with everyone. There is no true color of magic, because you can use "white magic" for evil as you can also use "black magic" for good. Again I thank you, and ask that you forget ignore my last post. Thank you for your replies, Blessed Be and May you find your path with much ease. )O(
as what others are saying, take for example the knife.. either be if you use it to harm or help, its still a knife.. there is no such thing as black/evil knife (i use black pertaining to harming) or white/good knife (pertaining to helping).. at the end of the road, it is still a knife, no matter where, when, how, and why you use it.. same goes on magick.. it all depends on the user..
one thing more, the so-called "black magick" (i'd put "so-called" because of the majority of the norms) is not actually when you do harm to others, they actually label it black because it is hidden in the veils of shadows..
Although one may want to say that there is Black and White magicka, they are just one in the same.Or in simple terms, Magick is Magick. This is because one person can consider a love spell, for example, as white magick and not black magick, while someone can consider love spells as black magick. White and Black magick, to me at least, is simply an unneeded title, and I would wish for the simple title of Magick for all things that involve magick, such as all things that involve occult is called occult.
