I need some advice

Well, cant you practice out of doors somewhere private?

When you say judged, like what do you mean? Is this something you cant discuss with your family?

I had a similar problem when I was younger. I shared a room with my sister. I discovered the wonders of "taking a bath." You can go into the bathroom and no one will question that you're spending a long time with the door locked or that you don't want to be disturbed. It even helps to explain away things like burning candles or incense.

It's only a temporary solution though. In the long run it's much better to talk to your family so you don't have to be so secretive.

Ok, this is my humble opinion, but if your Mom would be really offended by this, then i would say take it out of the house.

She feeds you, shelters you loves you, but maybe this would hurt her or really disrespect her. You know your Mom best and she deserves your respect.

Your brother just sounds ignorant, but there again, you dont want to bring discord into your Mom's house.

Good time I guess to master quiet meditation perhaps? Or getting back to nature outdoors?

Excuses make it a problem you don't want help with. Whining helps nothing. If you won't even consider what is being offered, go away and cry somewhere else. Oh well...

i can do it during the day if i don't have a job. just thought sumone could help out if i get a job

I just read you profile and you are from SA, so I understand about your reticence from working outside.

Please be safe. Dont push something that will put you in danger.

I guess the best advice i could give is to meditate and create all the physical components you need within your mind. Practice your craft using intense visualization.

When you have your own place you can do what you want, so maybe this is a time to learn patience and focus on an interior practice.
