Magic is magic, its all a big circle, and no matter what the magic is wether it be to heal someone or to hurt then or make them go against their free will, it WILL come back to you.
You all are talking about the fact that it will come back. But what if someone knows it,and still wants to do it!? Why are so many of you bothering to say all that karma stuff again if they know it and want to do it? Like if you taught me what are kinds of numbers when I asked you how to multiply!
If you want to learn and practice "black" magic then do so. Just don't be shocked when you ask or talk about it that people will remind you of the possible repercussions.
At this point you are becoming troll like with your posts Replay. Get over your "bad" self and actually come up with intelligent questions and conversation. The reason people keep trying to tell you about karma is because you keep on insisting they do. Your actions cause a reaction and after all that is what you want.
Yeah, what a nice psychological analysis. But it doesn't bring me down. I don't do black magic, thank you very much. But some people do and that's it. Let them ask for advice and let them get normal answers they wish for. Now,about the wanting reaction thing...You think that I want a reaction? Oh. Yes you are completely right. I want a reaction, and the fact is I get it. ;)
I will agree with magick not being of any specific color or faction. But when you add a specific intent or purpose to it, then it does become labeled. Anything of "mal" or "negative" intent or purpose has indeed been cause for people to label that type of practice as "Black Magick". Anything of "positive" intent and purpose people have labeled as "White Magick". It is a very common stereotypical practice of a great many of people.
As you sit here and argue the color of magick, people will make the same mistake of labeling energy in the same fashion. Both are of no color until you manipulate either by adding your intent and purpose, then in which case they will gain a label.
As for Karma and the 3Fold law, these two very similar theories existed long before Wicca. As Wicca was a new found path by incorporating ideals from several nature based paths. Wicca itself is not a base religion and therefore the Karma & 3Fold theories do not solely belong to the Wiccans.
As for your original rant, I back kts & several others in the fact that when a new practitioner comes to me looking for information on a spell in trying to use it to affect another's freewill, I try to steer them in another direction every time. 98% of all beginners like to jump into the advanced topics before learning the basics, which includes a lot of information that will not only explain why & how things work but also arm them with the knowledge so that they do not intentionally harm themselves or others.
Personally this rant does not seem to have been posted to defend people that have been told otherwise when asking for certain spells. As it does seem to be written to attack those who seem to care more about other's well beings than you obviously do. By writing and posting this rant you have proven to the entire site and its members that you are young in your practice & extremely ignorant.
Also everything in the universe including Magick works on the concept of balance. A balance must be kept, if you upset that balance in a positive or negative fashion, there will be repercussions whether you "believe" in it or not. And you can label it karma or whatever makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
No one can stop them from doing anything. People are just pointing out that folks need to be aware that for every action they take their are potential reactions, and not all of them are good. It really all comes down to understanding what you are doing, and taking some responsibility. There are a lot of young people on this site, they can be easily influenced, some of the more experienced people are merely trying to educate as to some of the pitfalls of doing magic, particularly some of the more complicated types of magic. This is really kind of a silly debate, why would anyone be concerned about urging people to take precautions, heck, I take precautions when I cross a busy road. Magic is not a game, it can do great good as well as great harm, it doesn't hurt anyone to know that.
It's the internet. How on earth has anyone here physically stopped anyone else from performing a "black magick" spell?
They didn't. The people who asked for it and are now crying because they got told an opinion and can't figure out how to tie their shoes let alone cast a spell. That's they're own problem, not anyone else's.
If you want to learn something that a group of people refuse to teach you, pull up your britches, use the search option and figure it out on your own.
I love how immature people get upset when they ask a question and get an answer that is not the one they wanted. Continuing to complain about it shows an even more immature attitude. They must think if they whine enough they will get the answer they want, but in reality it is not going to happen.
Replay no one cares if you practice black magic or not. It seems you have an issue with others that merely wish to give some guidance to others. It might not be the guidance that the person wants but that is life. You can't change peoples minds into giving out information on "black" magic. They will either give it or not. Insulting them and complaining about what they are and are not doing is not helping those who wish to learn. If fact you are making it worse instead of better.
