Sounds like that might be your totem/spirit animal. I would do some research and meditation on the meaning of that, if I were in your shoes. Often times when you find yourself around a certain type of animal (or if they seem attracted to you), there is meaning behind it.
Cats represent wisdom, intuition, and feminine energies. Perhaps they are trying to bring out those aspects in you, or they sense them in you :)
I was not in any way implying that anyone was mistreating a cat! I was merely pointing out that a cat is very independent, whereas a dog isn't. I meant to say that if ANYONE mistreats a dog it will remain faithful. A cat will not. I have had both dogs and cats all my life, and wouldn't dream of mistreating either animal. I love them both.
the reason your cats might be leaving is cause their probally familers or spirits who help witches and not cats are the only ones dogs, birds, frogs, fish even ants but your cats might be those spirits helping you
Sounds like your Spirit Guide, but it could anything really. Perhaps a deceased loved one who had a strong connection with the cat family? It could be their way of being around you personally. Although, they (the cats) could come when they feel you're in need, and leave when they feel that you're better, or when they feel their business is done. Like someone had mentioned, they bring out certain characteristics in yourself. (Forgive me, I'm on my phone and can't remember who said what. =P )
Animals have a sense for people who like them and relate to them. Everyone has an animal or two they connect with.
My husband has a wild hawk sit on his car at his work everyday. It takes food right from his hand. And when he drives away, it follows his car for sometime before going on its own way. His employees are astonished.
Cats and dogs are attracted to me. I've never had to buy an animal from a shelter. They always show up in front of my home, dirty and hungry, since I was a little. They immediately take a fondness to me, and become attached quickly. When I visit friends, they are surprised by the fact that their dogs or cats act like my best friends in minutes, even though they act skittish around other "strangers".
Cats are just your animal. You should learn as much as you can about them. They reflect who you are.
When I was a young teenager I had tons of books on cats. I plan to stop in a library or bookstore next week. Unfortunately off the top of my head, I can't remember the name of the two best books I ever read on the subject (by the same author), but I will recognize them when I see them. Its been too many years! When I searched online I found too many books to go through (about 3000 results!) When I find them, I'll give you the names and authors.
