You need to eat things that will affect your blood. Sugar anyone? Blood tastes metallic and always will. Try pouring sugar over your arm before hand? I'm sorry but fetishes like these always go bad.
lol wow that was odd, but not in an 'omg i'm gonna be sick' more a 'omg that's amusing' way. you know the health risks so i don't have to say anything. HOWEVER even though you're abstinent you may still have something, so i say have a blood test, JUST TO BE SAFE no other reason than that. many diseases can be passed through blood, not just sex, so if you're doing that, you should still check, and if you're blood is tasting 'off' it could be a sign something's wrong. if nothing's wrong with either of you [cuz he should be tested also to be safe] it could be hormones, or shifts in life, be it stress or diet. don't know any spells to change taste, but diet could be a factor. anyway that's my advice, blessed be.
If you are eating too much garlic, this might cause your blood to taste worse than it did before. Cut back the amount of garlic and onion in your diet.
Also, I've heard that mosquitoes really like the taste of bananas in your bloodstream. You could try eating more bananas. Mosquitoes will be more attracted to you, but I figure that's a risk you're willing to take.
Honestly folks... I hate to break it to all the squeamish ones out there but if there are no diseases involved and the injuries are done carefully and watched for infection...there are really no large risks about this.
Yes, your stomach IS designed to digest blood. It's just not a good idea to drink a lot of it because our digestive systems are not used to raw meat, it's hard to digest and CAN make you sick if you eat too much of it. Don't keep the blood out of your body...this can cause food poisoning because bacteria like to grow in it.
Guys...there's blood in your steak. You see it on the package when you open it and take the meat out. There's cooked blood in soup. Butchers often sell animal blood for making stock or other things with. Ever heard of a blood pie or blood sausage? Look it up if you don't believe me. We are omnivores, that means we eat just about anything.
Enough with the "doesn't end well" stuff. That's just silly.
My only advice is to stay safe, make sure the injuries don't get infected. Human saliva has lots of bacteria in it. You don't want to get a nasty infection in your bloodstream. Keep sterile, stick to small wounds and let them heal all the way (don't keep reopening the same wound) You'll have some scarring, but I assume you're ok with that too.
