you have to really will it too work; depending on the spell(s) the correspondence may not be strong enough on its own so you have to personally make up for the lack of connecting energy with will power. Try it and if that's not working then at least it no fault of your own.

Amora is right. you cant expect a spell to work automatically. Certain spells work in specific times. Just relax, i will take some time to work, especially if you are a beginner like me. Patience is what you need.

While the tides of the Moon are effective to work with in Magick, you do not need to adhere to them. Magick is adaptable, so you do what you feel is best after some research.

It can be slow starting out, keep working with it. Start with the basics, meditation is a good place to start and learn how to raise enough power to cast spells.
Also learn the correspondences, when would be the best time to do the spell.
It may take some time, but don't give up, you'll be able to do it once you practice.

I'm new also. I have tried a few spells from this site, but they did not work. I have been writing then in a notebook to keep track. I did havea successful one though. I wish I had a mentor or someone to help me through some concerns I have or may have come up. I am from Rhode Island in the United States. Anyone interested?

keep trying try different spells if some dont work to start off
