I'm looking forward that there are ranks but no one else has discovered yet, can someone ask a spirit if there are really ranks? Because we won't know in our physical state :P. But nah I'll agree to what you guys have said. :D
On accasion if the spirit was seen as such by a human than a human can give a spirit said ranks, how ever there is no leader in the spirit realm to give such rancks only groups of humans can give a spirit such a rank, and name.
Spirit ranks would vary from entity to entity, and not just on species of spirits, but on individual groups. There are probably a million different versions of the Infernal Hierarchy, and even then, they won't encompass all demon, nor even a small fraction of them.
So some spirits might have ranks, some don't. A god is just a title( a demon is just a title but that's a story for another time). Some spirits are anarchistic, others are rigid hierarchies.
THat said, spirits can recognize power levels, spirits or magicians stronger than them, et cetera, but how they choose to see it, is also not identical spirit to spirit.
If you want any ranking system, or hierarchy, that's reliable, make your own...and see it fall apart when something too weird to be classified pops up.
The ranks I mention can classify the spirits no matter how weird they can get...
Not being rude or anything like that but if it offended you a bit sorry :3, well it just came to me after a long time questioning myself over and over again and when it came to me it was like a conversation with something :P... Well, what do you make of entities, pre-existing or egregoric, or other stronger than gods?
You could try asking a deity you trust, who is "above" them, and how far up the ladder goes, when it comes to currents, primordials, and oversouls, and how many steps there are until one reaches "The All".
I could tell you what I had, but I'd prefer we compare notes in PMs after you've had your experiences, since experiences tend to taint other people's experiences, and magic being a heavily personal path...
The "ranks" as I see them do a good job at reflecting something of a "life cycle" for a spirit, rather than an implicit hierarchy per say.
However, please do not forget, screw anything Zelotar says if it doesn't work for me.
i havent heard of any ranks of the spirit world besides but their are basicly power levels that can be defined in to titles to form rank systems if spirits wish to use them. i have the idea that over time spirits evolove in to gods after a large number of experiences in the spirt world and the physical world
Very few spirits have ranks at all. Most spirits are just spirits and will only be just spirits. The only spirits that have rank that I can think of are the Lords of Darkness. But there may be others that I am not aware of that have ranks. You never know.
Very few answers but I'm nearing to see the clearer image of the puzzle pieces to my question... Still can someone pls humbly ask a spirit if there's one? I only have a few time to do my things since I'm very busy and my connection to entities is blurry and buzzy... ;-;
