Two young boys were spending the night at their grandparents the week before Christmas. At bedtime, the two boys kneel beside their beds to say their prayers when the youngest one begins shouting at the top of his lungs.

"I pray for a new bicycle! I pray for a new Nintendo! I pray for a new DVD!
His older brother leans over and nudges him, 'Why are you shouting your prayers? God isn't deaf."

The little brother replies, "No, but Grandma is!"

An elderly fisherman was at home, dying in bed, when he smelled his favorite aroma - chocolate chip cookies baking.

He wanted one last cookie before he died, so he crawled to the kitchen, reached up to the cookie sheet on the table and grasped a warm, moist cookie.

His wife hit his hand with a spatula and yelled, "Leave them alone. They're for the funeral!"
