Would just like to take a moment to go back on topic and say Thank you Dakota, wonderful post, just wondering if there's a coven on here that's focused on Traditional Witchcraft?

Most traditional witches are "loners";very few would join a coven. And even that would be a real "live" coven, not one on-line.

Elderglean, I do not "look down my nose" at any religion or belief.I am simply saying that witchcraft has nothing to do with
" beliefs" or religion. I have said it over and over again; you may believe anything you wish! It is when members say that their "belief" is true,or a proven fact, that I will contradict that member. If a member states "I believe in God.", then that's fine. When a member states "I have seen God, and spoken with Him" or Her. Then I will contradict that member.
If a young member states "I am a mermaid!", are we supposed to say "Of course you are!". Or do we tell them the truth!

But no-one said that all witches believe in spirits, and no one said that all witches cast spells. You're answering points no one tried to make. And yes you do look down your nose. You probably don't see it because in your world you're infallibly right and everyone else is an inexperienced newbie who never had an all-knowing teacher. I can give examples of your superior airs in the form of direct quotes from your posts if you really want to get down and dirty.
Also - just because in your world traditional witches don't join online covens, does NOT mean that the mold cannot be broken. The world can evolve beyond what you "know".

Once again you are saying that I am contradicting everybody. That is simply not true! I have said that "most" traditional witches are "loners", and they don't usually join on-line covens.

I'll concede that point, because it could easily be my perception of your attitude and tone that clouded my vision, so I do apologise for that.
Are you going to answer my points about you making up stuff just so you could argue? If you can't argue against my points, maybe you could just gracefully concede them, and perhaps apologise? It really isn't difficult and is a natural part of the debating process.

If you can, I will gladly do the same :)

If, as it seems, I have offended you, then yes, I do apologize, very sincerely. I really only contradict members who state a belief as a fact. Many do so without knowing it! It is so easy to say,"there is a God",instead of "I believe there is a God".

@Brysing
A fair portion of these site is dedicated to what you claim as "Beliefs". So a fair portion of these site is dedicated to the so called topic of "Belief Work" , such as dieties , spiritual beings and so forth. Things that cannot be readiy seen physically are included as well such as the fact that we have an Astral Projection Section.
Yes , it may be a belief to you but these topics have their own sections on their own. There is a term called "Personal Derived Gnosis" and when people claim to have done things like "experienced god or this spirit whatsoever" , it is glaringly obvious that it is a personal derived gnosis.
For example , during church mass and a pastor states something like "God is here with you right now , in this very place" and a random person just barges in and says something along the lines of "Hey! That is just a belief of yours! Don't state it as a fact! You can believe in God but that does not make it true!"
Such a statement is not neccassary and can be downright rude , mean and upsetting. What you are doing is the same , except over the Internet. It is not neccassary as it is clearly a personal gnosis.
When you make statements like these , an example of one would be one you posted in the fortune telling section which is :
As for believing that a pack of picture cards can accurately foretell the future. You may as well believe in the tooth fairy!
-Brysing
on a section dedicated to fortune telling no less , it is no wonder that some can be abit upset or offended by your posts.

I am fully agree with you AkashicMind.
And as another note,a"pack of picture cards" can actually give an accurate answer about the future,it just depends on how the person who ask for reading interpret what the divinist say.
