Haha this topic reminds me of my Guildmates in an Online Game named GrandChase so here is a (kinda long)story about me and my Guild Mates XD:
That day, year 2009, I told them (I mean i CARELESSLY told them) that i study and practice magick, then as usual, since all of them are Christian (in fact the majority of people here in the Philippines are Christians...Including me, until now its my religion), they started talking with me about it, until it come to the point that one of my Guild mates said something like:"My only advice to you, Dont be Deceived" Man that statement is by far the most annoying, do you think im Deceived? No, i personally not believe im being deceived, this quest is as far as i believe was given to my by God, and since i want to take on this quest too(quest to find truths behind truths, and i know magick can help me with it), i took on to magickal path, and there, they start talking and talking with me about it, others got annoyed, and became my enemy in the whole guild, then also the one who said to me that:"dont be deceived" also told me a story of her friend, which is a Harry Potter fan, and she said that, magick is true (she believed in magick cuz of what she saw on her friend), there she told me that her friend wants to study magick, then began studying it, then a few weeks, she saw her friend has in his room, things like Runes, star of David, Inverted pentagram, and any other fancy stuffs, there, then she saw her friend has a unique look, like that of a possessed one, she also told me that her friend said he can see spirits and such, then after she told it on me, I laughed at the same time felt sorry, lol, i had mixed emotions, then i told her that..Her friend was the one who is deceived, look, her friend has some stuffs, including the inverted pentagram, I also told her about that pentagram, so that's maybe the reason why she thinks magick is the work of Satan, there, i explained on her about those, and i also told her that, her friend lacks the heart, mind and soul to do this craft, I also told her that without having a strong heart, mind, and soul, that will be the result, the person will become possessed(and yeah she also told me that her friend really was become possessed), I also told her that this quest/ mission as far as i Believe in, was given to me by God, so i know im safe, plus i have my Guardian angel, and Guardian Seraph, and Spirit Dragon (which i summoned once i started studying more seriously about this stuffs) to guide, protect me and never lose my way, plus I've also known Darkness, i have a Dark side, which almost all of my Guild mates know about it too(lol if you wanna know more about the story why i had this Dark side, just PM me, lol XD), so there, i kept explaining, even telling them the message which has been given to me by my friend who is a Witch from the website youtube, then they argue about me that Jesus did not perform magick, he performed Miracles, well..WTH?!?! these people really are air headed, as far as i believe in, Miracles and magick are the same, except miracles was done by a Divine being, while magick is done by a Human being (or anything similar but lower than a divine being), so they keep arguing, until the conversation came to an end, haha, lol, also when knowing that, i had verified my theory about one thing...which pushes the teenagers today (i admit im also a teen, im 15 years old) to do magick...my theory was because of the influence of Harry Potter series (I also admit, this movie is one of my favorites), BUT, it never entered my mind to do magick, since last year, I only did magick between the months of September 2008(the month when my Dark Side has been Born) up to December 2008, and even though one of my Fave movie is Harry Potter, it never influenced me to do magick, Lol, the only things that pushed me to explore more on magick ,was, when i heard the word Rune, i already heard that word many times, then until last year, i became interested, than searched that word on wikipedia, then I discovered that it is also used in ancient times and in Magick, then as i got interested (im already interested in magick since i was 3 years old), then searched some more, then searched the net about Rune magick, then went to Youtube to gather some info, then there, i met many withces, and one of them was my friend Witch who is once a christian (mormon) and now hes a Pagan, and hes practicing for such a long time, then also as i met many Witches there, they told me infos about the truths about the real Magick, then i became amazed, cuz of the things and the benefits i can get, and It entered my mind to study and study, until i came across this site while searching for some Psychic related stuffs (im also amazed in Psychics since i was..6 if i remember correctly), then there, i learned alot, then study magick and Psionics, also, I started exploring Rune stuffs, because of my Dark side, hes the one which is pushing me to do this, also my friend in youtube, said to me that i have to get away from magick, if my Dark side is the only one who is pushing me to do this, and also during that time, when my Dark side has been born, i heard female voices, and the sound was so soothing, it was like im having a sound hallucinations also the one that happened when my Dark side has been born, those 2 strange things happened to me in 2 consecutive days, 1st my Dark side, then 2nd female voices, then those female voices communicated on me, and introduced themselves, then they finally told me that, one of them is my Guardian Angel, the one i am with, since birth, then other one is a Seraph, which came to be guarding, and protecting me for some reasons (I dont know what is it), then there, they also told me stuffs about magick, and somehow encourage me to study this stuffs, so there, not just my Dark side but my Guardian Angels too, so there, that time, i've lost my doubts, and there, i started walking the magickal path (and Psi path, since these June) with them by my side, so i know im safe, then there, magick has alot of benefits, and also it came to me mind that these stuffs can help me discover the Truth behind the Truths, and can help me do the things that i need, and want to do, with the Holy and Divine guidance as far as i believed, and also not to tell you that, my friend in youtube, also stopped talking on me, cuz of my Dark side, and my persistence to study magick, haha, but now, im a pretty good person now, and yeah, the reasons i study magick, was: To discover the Truths behind the Truths, to better myself, to give myself self discipline, to help me in my everyday life, and to help me get in touch with God, or any other gods, and other ethereal, mystical, and mythical beings.
Lol, i've written along story, haha, the first few paragraphs showed how much im frustrated in the un-informed Christians, and teenagers who only want to study magick without any good and deep reasons other than because of the influence of MEDIA like Harry Potter crapeses XD, I also know that SOME of the teens and newbies here only want to study magick because of these influences of media, and in the end, they only got possessed, which in result, made the Christians and other people think that magick is Evil or Demonic (well thats only my theory).
