Demigods...

I dont think dieties are calling anyone a demigod, thats just a human english term to describe someone who is born of a god and a mortal. it is quite simple to look it up in any dictionary

Well I guess you could say that but in the first place why is someone meant to be one?I already know bout where I stand it's just that so many things confuse me. An I don't need a definition but being royalty is something I don't like plus taking in so much information less than a month is hard. And trying to understand why everyone says what they say bothers me alot that's all

Demigods ARE the offspring of a mortal and a god, a lesser god is another thing, you may not become a demigod, but you may become a lesser god, whether by evolving your soul while alive, or after death, but the only kind of help you may get in this matter would be from a god or a demigod.

So evolving my self seem like something I always do but

Well i believe a demigod is the offspring of a god and a mortal. But can also be used to describe a person who is chosen by a god. the first you would have to alter your birth for the second one it is rare for a god to use humans like in the ancient times. as for energy listen to the people who have posted

So let me get this straight.If someone is/was a demigod,would you be saying that they were physically conceived,by a deity and mortal?Or astrally? To me astrally makes more sense.

That is the most liklying thing to happon. I would guess however that, if they had a physical body they would be abit more powerfull physical because the astral body is a demi god.

I believe that the soul can ascend to higher existences, but that would take many lives. Buddhists believe that souls can become "devas" which are in fact god-like beings. If you are interested in that sort of thing, you should look into Buddhist reincarnation theories.

However, there are many cultures who perform a process called deification.

Deification means making someone into a god. It is usually done when they die, but not always. The process is always a big deal. Usually it requires the support of a full nation or an entire culture.

The ancient Romans deified their nobility (sometimes). I think the ancient Egyptians did the same thing. I don't know about modern cultures. You can look up "deification" on wikipedia to get more information if you like.

I was deified in a past life. The only result (that I've noticed) is a very high level of energy and some spooky innate magickal powers. A lot of the things people have to work hard for, I do naturally...like seeing auras, AP, energy manipulation.

There are those who will claim that deification does nothing. From experience I'd say it does. You can believe what you like.

That is the only way I know of to become a god when you aren't one already.

As to how you can increase your energy capacity...just do more magick. The more you do, the better you'll be able to handle high levels of energy. It's like working out a muscle. As you work it, it gets stronger. Same with your energy. Work it, it will increase.

I believe there are 2 definitions of a demigod. A demigod is either someone born from a mortal and a god as the other parent,. Theother definition is a magick practitioner who has gained so much power and knowledge to be considered a half god, which is what demigod means. I would go about being one by studying and practicing magick until you are at your full potential. It would be hard, because you would have to give up all worldly possessions in order to study day and night.
