You know that incense scent they sell, usually called ''Egyptian Goddess'', is that supposed to smell like any of the perfumes you've mentioned? I know squat about Egyptian perfumes (something I've written down to research!) but I love that scent and I was just wondering if it had any actual connection to Egypt. "
That's really hard to say without knowing exactly what the ingredients in that incense are. And the ingredients may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. I have bought some Kyphi from a dealer before, but it was a dealer which listed the ingredients including wine, honey, and raisins which are unusual to find in incense blends so I knew it was close to what is described regarding Kyphi in the Pyramid Texts.
Some common ingredients in Egyptian scents include sandalwood, myrrh, frankincense, spikenard and cedar. And you might also find lotus or lily for floral notes. But they also used ingredients less commonly found in mixes today such as cardamom, saffron, and even henna.
I believe that the if the Vatican did hide it it would be because the Annunaki, or Nephilim. Most people that talk about the involvement of aliens and the government call them the Annunaki from the ancient Sumerian. These beings are the result of fallen angels mating with humans. If all of this did happen, then they would be wanting to control the humans, which would show why the gov't tries so hard to keep control of people and not have the church interfere. If the church let things out or did research and found things they think their so close to finding like noahs ark or the ark of the covenant, then people would be going crazy with it and would be even harder to control than they are now. I do believe it is a possibility they are hiding things and waiting for Nebiru to return and cause the population to decrease before they rise and try to take control of the small portion thats left.
Hello I have some information that might be of interest to you if you are investigating anything to do with qeres. If you want to expand your knowledge base and hear a bit of my story pertaining to this substance let me know it will probably be of interest to you and if you are looking into it perhaps u might have some information thats useful for me on my journey.
EarthAngel, this thread is over a decade old, and the person who started it hasn't even been on this site since nearly that long. It's doubtful you resurrected this thread for any actually fruitful results.
The first, and the one we know to be true is that the term was used to describe the combination of spices used during the mummification process in ancient Egypt. During that process the body was cleansed and purified with powdered aromatics of cinnamon, cassia, cumin, anise, and myrrh and probably others as well. Then the body was treated with natron to dry it out.. So it seems most likely that this combination of aromatics is what was known as Qeres.
The second is a totally unproven conspiracy theory that there exists a perfume which is deadly to Angels and to any who carry the blood of the Nephilim. And yet this same poison isn't toxic to humans. There is no solid evidence that this Angel-killing perfume exists or ever did exist. It has been said that the Church sought this perfume because they believed that the Jewish people carried the blood of the Nephilim in their DNA and that the perfume could then be used to kill off all of the Jewish people. So it sounds like the story may have arisen as a way of justifying genocide.
With little information out there about this specific oil, we may never know exactly what it contains but there are very good guesses as to what may have been involved even if we don't know exact ratios. There are known oils that were used for embalming such as lavender, daisy, anise, peppermint, myrtle, cassia, cedar, myrrh, frankincense, rose, cinnamon, camphor, cumin, and aloe.
I am curious as to what you would like to do. Is this just informational or are you planing to create embalming oils for actual use?
