Oh lawds, please let someone set this straight before I see anything else said here.
Everyone with some form of an intelligence is capable and has the ability to use magick, depending on how you look at it everyone uses it in everyday life, some of us however are more aware of where and when it is used. As to casting, not every single spell will work straight up - casting is something which takes practice, knowledge, and in most cases a little research and understanding.
As to where to begin the most common point you'll come across is to look at the basics. I'd advise however you look at 3/4 lists of these before making your final decisions. Last but not least, actually the most important, is to research, read, and study. Use those three points as well as some good old common sense and you're on your way.
Everyone has the potential to do magic, the title of witch or wizard (I prefer Mage) simply refers to someone knowing how to perform magic. In effect, yes everyone is a witch, though there certainly people here who role play.
"How do you know if you are a true witch with powers or not?"
Okay everybody has the energy (won't say power cause we're basically using energy) to put forth their intention in the things they want in life but there are people who are naturally talented while others has to keep on practicing but in short everybody can do it as long as they research and practice it.
"I tried a spell on here to clear a stomach ache it worked but the other spells I try dont. Am I really a witch?"
Just cause a spell worked for you doesn't necessary means you're a witch.
"And if not, can I still do spells and will they work?"
Yes you can still do spells and if you keep practicing (learn the basic first) it will work. Just keep on practing and don't give up.
"Is everyone a witch?"
No not everyone is a witch cause there are some people who don't consider themselves as that and others practice a different magickal system.
Okay this is how I view things not everyone is going to agree with me which is all fine cause we're all entitle to our own opinion.
Well you see, everyone is born with the power of a witch/wicca or in other words, everyone can use magic. Most are just aren't raised to not have the intention of using magic, there really isn't a 'True witch' but the knowledge of magic itself. And a lot of spells are off of pure will power, concentration and faith that it will work... so depending upon who created the spell and what it is supposed to do. You can still use magic, and you are only a witch when you proclaim yourself as one.
I personally find anyone and everyone capable of doing magic as long as they know their basics. The reason some of those spells might not have worked is either because they are not authentic or because somebody didn't follow the basic rules to making the spell. For one thing, if a spell's goal is to defy science, it's obviously not going to work. That is one thing you need to remember. You cannot defy science with magic.
Hi I just wanted to say that everyone is an individual and has their own inner magic, sometimes another persons spell or magic will not work for another. Don't worry, just make your own spells from inside your heart and always with good intentions. Watch. That will work. Sincerely, Alura
