Cats come to the sound of kibble shaking or a treat container. I've never had a cat that didn't and I had an outdoor cat too.
Especially if he is not a mouser or birder, he will be hungry. Put his food outside or his bed/blanket. His familiar things will draw him.
Also check thoroughly in your house. My childhood cat was an explorer and found his way into, yes inside our ceiling through a small space next to the stairwell landing. He also tore open a sealed hole in the wall where we were renovating and working on the plumbing and made his way under the bathtub. We had to tear out the bathtub to get him out.
Look up outside. He could be anywhere from on a roof, an awning, or in trees. My childhood cat used to get stuck everywhere! But he was vocal so we always found him.
Also check in all cabinets, the drier, the dishwasher, anywhere he may have crawled into that could have shut behind him.

Your cat has been kept indoors for six years? No wonder he is now enjoying his freedom. He is exploring the world! A cat is a natural hunter, and there are small animals out there! He has been "missing" for what? Five days! He will come "home" eventually.

He was born feral, and his family is outside, but he has already been in several fights with the other cats. I heard them, and I am concerned he might be injured. I guess they don't remember him.
I brought him inside after his neuter when he was 6 months old. Him and his family are all part of a TNR program, and we have always taken care of them. We do have other cats inside that we have rescued as well.
We know he's outside. Believe me, we know how well cats can hide. I wish he were.
I was just outside feeding the TNR colony just now. (only 4 cats, not including Tiger) Shook the bag, and called his name. Everyone came but him.
I agree with the posters above, cats are curious creatures and do like to explore. My cat used to do the same thing, he would go for 2-3 days and then return home. Although, I do recommend calling out to him and also keep in mind that cats respond to the sound of their food, of course that is if he is near your home. He'll find his way back home, don't worry too much about it as this is something common for cats.
16th - dreams in this day dont mean much and *USUALLY* dont come true (your case is a bit different).
Tuesday - Day of the patron of war, and energetic Mars encourages people not to deviate from their goals. Anxious dreams signal the impending conflict, and dreams, bearing peace and tranquility, tell about a favorable solution of any difficult problem.
Time (24-03) - Chance of a prophetic dream, a nightmare.A seasoned magician will interpret this dream, very well. But with dream books, this should not be done. If you dream to see your parents, it means that they are waiting for your help (if still alive), and if not, then you need to visit their graves in the cemetery.
Two sound that cats are drawn to if you put your lips together like you kissing then suck in that's a good one also put your top teath on your bottom lip and sucj in those are the two that my cat loves also try shaking some greets around you house and outside as they could be anywhere but cats have better hearing than humans so he might hear it if he's close enuf sorry that he's gone missing I have a cat that likes to hide under my stairs in boxes and when I lose him I run around the house
