Keep an open mind. I personally belief that we can't the only advanced race in the universe. I see reptilian like race sometimes when I am in a trance.
There is water on Mars in the form of snow and ice. You can see it with But look it up, the planets have seasons even without life. Temperature change for one. Now talk of aliens is a very good subject. There are so many galaxies and stars and planets and moons; there has to be some kind of life. We can't be the only ones in this vast universe.
As for reptillian or Pleidian races on earth, I agree it's rubbish.
That being said though, there are many planets in other galexies that are in the hospitable zone. That means the temperature and conditions are potentially good for life. There are, without a doubt other planets with water on them, so who knows! There my be life on other planets that is intellegent in some way.
I'm going to ignore the discussion of Mars, it is irrelevant to the topic at hand.
Many occultists, including those which existed before the new age movement and obsessed with love and light pleaidians, believe in aliens.
Astral projection and alien contact are not necessarily related, and you and everyone living on earth is a human, nothing more. There are many occultists who are skeptics who have had experiences and contacts which can be labelled as extraterrestrial in nature.
Aleister Crowley said a few things which could be interpreted in light of the modern UFO craze. He wrote some of this opinion down, sadly most of his actual, personal thoughts about his experiences were delivered privately to his students orally. some of this has been reported by Hymaneous Alpha who had a discussion with Robert Anton Wilson.

^ The first section of that mentions beings which do not rely on human brain structures. I have read most of what the man wrote, and this was just odd wording for him. What is interetsing is that these are notes based upon oral teachings delivered by him. His opinion in private appears to be different.
Following on from him we have Kenneth Grant- I personally dislike his work, but a google search of his nam along with aliens and UFO will produce favourable results. Ignore his statements of LAM- they are just silly.
And further still, you may be interested in the works of Robert Anton Wilson- particularly his book Cosmic Trigger vol.1. I also believe thre are youtube videos of him discussing alien phenomena.
I apologise all these individuals are part of a Thelemic tradition, this is my main interest area and I do tend to stick to it- aliens do not interest me and so I only read about them when they are included in a book I happen to be reading. I just felt I needed to point out it is not just new-agers or people who are novices in magic, there are trained occultists who definitely knew their stuff, in the case of Crowley and Wilson were skeptical, and who did not go looking for such experiences who have experienced such things.
I personally don't find it plausible, nor do I particularly enjoy linking it to my tradition indefinitely, hence my inherent dislike of Grant. But I did need to point out believing in aliens etc. is not inherently stupid, it just personally leaves a sour taste in my mouth at times!
