Sensible People Stand Up

i will stand up, i always do. im not trying to be mean or hurt anyones feelings but come on.. I always try and educate the ones who think they are mermaids, fairys, vampiers and the ones who think they can turn into one. It is annoying and i hope people will realize it and instead of feeding them bs point them in the right direction

Arte, by the time I was thirteen... the youngest that someone can be and join this site... I had a firm grasp of what was real and what wasn't.

This post is primarily an expression of frustration.

It is not childlike, innocent, or cute to fully devote yourself to a belief system firmly rooted in fiction and a disconnect from reality. It is not adorable or sweet to try to escape to some world of make believe unless you are actually playing a game, reading a book, or otherwise experiencing what you, and everyone else, fully realizes to be fiction.

There are two sides to the coin. There is reality, and delusion. There is honesty, there is falsehood.

What good comes of fostering delusion and falsehood?

What good comes to fight it with force ?I second what Zebrah said -people learn when they are ready to learn .People make difference between fantasy and reality when they want to .Everyone learns it is matter of time i will not go against the river i will wait the river to change its flow whenever it is ready .All else is useless .You make no difference if the person decide not not listen to you .We all are prone to see what we want to see !We all believe what we want to believe .I do not see why being overfixated on all this .Fixation causes frustration lol .If someone does not listen to me i do not listen to him either it is obvious that we can not be in much use to eachother .Geting frustrated over that is waste of time and energy and is useless overall .But then again if you all decide to loose your time who am i to stop you .I just wish that you could use your energy in more constructive and useful way ,but i am afraid certain things are inevitable .Your frustration makes no sense and no good neither to you ,neither no anybody else .Aslo i do not know why the term used is "sensible "people since i see that nothing so far makes sense around all this ventilation and frustration .You all are magicians and practicioners you know that talking ,thinking for something is way to affirm it and to attract it .So now by expressong frustration you are attracting some more frustration !Frustration takes you down it does not make you standing up lol .Frustration makes you less productive and less happy .So what is the big sense to make yourself not productive and non happy in same time inceasing the public frustration ,giving a vet to it and then talk about things which makes sense .To nothing of that make sense ,but to everyone his own .It is your choice to make yourself unhappy and not productive .

The fluff level is very annoying, and yes it has grown. Unfortunately we have to accept the fact that there will always be fluff.

I also agree with Moondragon's point. Good, informatic posts are getting pushed down due to fluffy posts.

On the bright side, some accept that they are wrong and mermaids/werewolves/vamps etc don't exist. Others, however, remain stubborn and continue to believe these ridiculous things.

Many people have gave up, but yes, I agree. The more we correct them the more likely it is they will listen.

Arte, wherein speaking of the need to educate people was there suggested that it demanded that we be unhappy while doing so?

As I said earlier, when I get frustrated I step away.

I don't speak of constant negativity, I speak of teaching. Firmly, perhaps, but that is my way.

I created this thread because I've seen this site grow to be good with people standing up. But then I've seen it decline again. And honestly, if it doesn't change, I'm leaving. There is no point in posting on a board when there are no discussions between mature experienced adults. All it is, is fluffs right now. I like helping, but there should be something to enjoy for those more experienced as well. And if everyone gives up, than there is no point in my opinion. I like the people here who are experienced and love the threads that do come along (very rarely) engaging with them. But I was hoping to spark more.

Is that a crime?

I don't think I would enjoy the site so much if I limited myself to the public forum. I find much pleasure in the mature discussions in my coven forums, which energise and inspire me to post in public. The balance of personl intellectual and spiritual nourishment, with helping out in public, is met for me.

Not at all whiterav3n, the thing is that once you have been on this site for years like many of us have, you begin see how the tug-o-war works much like a pendulum at times. There will be times of triumph and times of trouble, we will always have a times when people are more sensible and times when they are not. The pendulum of time will always swing on.

Perhaps a vacation from the site would help with your feelings at this time. No one worth listening to wants those who have experience and knowledge to stop contributing to the site or leave altogether.
