Wait untill you are partly hypnotized. If you can still think, you are ready to start trying to pull out. Your mind should be as if half asleep but still conscIous.

Sleeping isn't the same as astrally projecting. Also try projecting in the morning to prevent yourself from falling asleep.

I disagree completely. Astrall projection should best be done at night. More specifically around 3:00 when psychic disturbences are lowest. This makes it easier for your mind to reach that part asleep like feeling I was talking about. Believe me, the feeling is unmistakeable. Just as an added tip, it may help to spin around untill you get dizzy before trying. For some reason, I found that helps. Many people report different feelings upon leaving the body. For me, when I astral projected, I felt a strong tingling sensation all over me that gradually died down.

your doing it a good way but you have to meditate for 10 mins before you do that. and your astral body is a part of you. you are your astral body so you have to imagine your self coming out. astral body is just an invisible type of you. but like i said you have to be the boss of your astral body cause you are it.

hmm well I've been watching this youtube series and it says that most people make some very little mistakes which prevents them from astral projecting because of what most books say.

It says you should not try to project when in the vibrational state but when you get past it: little vibrations, mild vibrations, high vibrations, no vibrations (that is when you project). Don't try to project just let it come naturally. I think my hand separated tonight but I'm not sure because my head hadn't separated. If you want to know more on youtube type in Lucidiology 101.

If you go to the website sign up, you should get an email that leads you somewhere where you can have an online timer and other things. With the timer you basically just lie flat and concentrate on nothing so just basically try and go to sleep then the alarm should wake you up after 20 mins, the time will keep getting shorter and shorter and because of the way it works after each time it goes of you go into a deeper trance or half sleep.
