I think we should have notifications as you don't know when someone's respond to unless you look thought everything you've commented in, so it put's me off commenting, as it's a lot to look through. I also think a like button would be nice when you like something someone has said. My final suggestion is for a better system when it comes to gagging as Mod's are gagging people even for something silly to a spelling mistake. This is not fair! Some mod's are on a power trip in my eyes! There should be an appeal system & I've heard other member's say this also. Regards, panther.
Sorry can I also add that I do feel that some of the spells need to be monitored as you can't be a vampire for example so it's giving the wrong msg's for some people. We won't get to many *Fluthy's* if they were not encouraged by having spells basically saying you can be a vampire or a werewolf. I feel a better ratting system should be done as well becausewho say's if a spell if 3star's or 5star's? Does any-one check the spells before there uploaded?
Okay, so we have ratings for spells, articles and members. What about ratings for specific forum posts or threads? I think that i would be great to be given some thumbs up for things you post in the forums, of course that the contributions have to be qualified and helpful enough ^_^
I think that the option of rating forum posts should be given to a specific amount of helpful and active members, though.
Personally, I think there should be a forum category specifically for placing helpful threads. Too many times I see helpful threads, being smothered by newb threads with poor grammar and lack of common sense.
Also, I don't think the rating system is fair. I have years of experience, but am rated as beginner. The mods seem to under-rate many people. You specifically said that the "Novice" rating is for people that are still learning but not quite as knowlegable as the higher rankings, but often I see these people ranked as "Beginner" Also, I think that certain spells need to be removed from the site, the werewolf and vampire spells section tends to confuse fluffies, and I think that creates a bigger problem with them.
I would like to see the mods be able to delete spells, if possible.
And as for Spell Casters, I believe it should have leaders. A Priest and a Priestess. That is what is wrong there, there are no moderators to kick members from there. There is sheer Chaos.
No disrespect to Linda and Kts, they are awesome and do what they can, however it needs Order, for it's filled with a bunch of unsupervised teenagers, who are desperate, and have their hormones raging.
I see potential in that Coven as well, it just needs leaders.
Acoda: Mods are not who ranks. Members ranked knowledgable or adept are the ones who rank. If you dislike the ranking system, ignore it. If you believe you aren't a beginner, prove it through your posts (not just your claims) and people will come to see that.
