I personally do not use "magick" that often. Like the normal witch I use it when the need is great and when mundane things will not work but I am not a spell of the day type person.
In a normal day I do daily affirmations with the days of the week as well as with my own path. I use reiki a few times a day to deal with my pain, pep me up to make it through a workout, practice session and so forth, however I do not use "magick ie spells" to often at all. I use spells when I need to, but not to find my car keys, charge my cell phone, and so forth because for me that is just plain wasteful. The universal life source, lord, lady, dragons or whatever deity you call upon has better things to do then to be at your beck and call every time you feel a need to use "magick".
I have gone months without doing a "spell" outside of Lunar or Solar rituals.
I will say when I resort to spell weaving most of the time I get the results that I want but I think that is because I am not a needy witch and the powers help because I honor my deities and dragons and I do not go to them for every small thing.
The problem is that roleplayers, or otherwise people who are treating this website like a joke aren't banned. It shouldn't take too long if moderators seriously devoted a couple of hours to finding these people judging by their posts and profile.
Unfortunately role play is not banned from the site yet. It is not allowed in the chat room however it can be placed in the forums. If you wish you may post on a thread when you think they are just rping. You just can't personally attack them :)
As for having the mods get rid of them we do the best we can to keep it out of the chat. So many complain about it however it is the rules. If you do not like the rules then feel free to leave the site.

though i catch your drift also i would just like to note im not sticking up for anyone here but note that not all kids are roleplayers it can be adults too.
Maybe we could create a subforum for RP? I'm not against RP as a means of creative writing and expressing your appreciation/interest/fandom in a certain book, movie, or fantasy, but I am against it when it is used to play pretend HERE amongst those who are not playing. All of these claims of superhuman magick, heritage, and abilities are complete mockeries of the REAL magick that exists.
I suppose I can be a bit mean when it comes to catching people in an RP but as I see it as 'defending reality'.
I actually do RP often on other sites, sites either dedicated to the purpose or sites with a specific area for it. Here is not such a place and members should respect that.
This site/forum seems very simplistic in its layout, so I'm not sure what abilities mods have (moving posts, deleting posts, giving formal warnings, etc), but we should all put in an effort to keep nonsense off the site. And if we can't have an RP forum, how much effort does it take to change the rules to "No RP in forum or chat"?
I'm new as well and I see a lot of kids my age just on here because they were inspired by some book or movie. But i honestly love to study the art. I red more then i perform any spells. Taking up from mentors and really trying my best. I went to Wicca after living in a completely strict catholic home and I still haven't used magic to solve any of my problems. i just want to learn and be in a coven of people I come to love and trust.(I also do follow a goddess, Nemisis) And there are others like me so don't lose hope in the new generation.
