You seem mostly correct. But I do want to add this: Satan originally comes from a sanskrit (oldest known language) word that roughly translates to ultimate truth. It wasn't until much later that the hebrews turned it around to men adversary.
Also, some believe that satan is not one entity, but more of a title. For instance; Lucifer, Azazel, Belial, Set, Beelzebub, and a few others have all been refered to as satan throughout various scriptures... Which brings me to the concept of the baphomet. The Baphomet is not really a deity per se but more of a symbolic representation of the concept of satan.
If you're looking for more demons outside the goetia, Modern Demonolatry by S. Connoly has a pretty good list. Also, the Nekronomicon is agood read (even though it's authenticity is often questioned)
Just to clarify the sanskrit connection has no evidence, by actual academics, behind it and has been discussed here many times. Satan is a Jewish concept, thus he originates in the Hebrew language and has always meant adversary.
Even if you were to disprove the sanscrit satan theory, the only thing jewish about the origin of satan would be the name. Sumerian/babalonian mythology as well as yezidi scripture are much older than judaism and they both speak of a deity that fits the description of lucifer or satan. Only difference is they see him as the good guy
I think Joy of Satan has had a hand in all of this, plus you are conflating the terms Lucifer and Satan.
Melek Taus- the figure in yezidi teachings did go against god and was later forgiven. They actualy took concepts from Christianity and Islam, as well as ancient assyria. Christianity and Islam both came way after Judaism.
As for similar beings, I will state here and now, there is absolutely no link whatsoever between Enki and Satan.
To state that they are the same being is an erroneous statement and one which is promulgated by the joy of satan lot- who are a bunch of morons in my opinion (also racist, homophobic, and anti-semetic neo-nazis).
Judaism did borrow elements from ancient religions, those ncient relgions most likely borrowed their myths from previous stories, however, that does not mean because a similar deity is described they are the same character or being.
Actually, studying mythology and origins of religion is just something I find very interesting and the enki/satan theory is something I was actually already putrefying together lone before I had ever heard of JoS. A lot of their info is accurate but you're right, they do have extremist tenancies and I am in no way affiliated with them.
The concept of enki has too many similarities with the concept of satan for me to believe it is coincidence. And yes, lucifer can be considered satan but satan isn't nessesarily lucifer.
You don't have to believe me, I'm just offering my viewpoint because I think it makes sense.
Anyone who claims Jo's ministries is a neo Nazi homophobic racist sect of Satanism have no knowledge pertaining to this agenda. That is a fact not my opinion. Jo's ministries is a sect of theistic Satanist whom alias Maxine high priestess gives you a correct insight on demonology and the truth her views aside politically and socially are her opinions but is in no way a racist nazi agenda. Excuse this close minded fool that lacks the enlightenment to see through the grand of all lies and its false history.
