The muffled roar of the engine,
The empty parking lot it stops.
Another full moon,
The man's smile drops.

Creeping from the shadows,
The shell of a man stands.
Demanding money or death,
The thug smiles and holds out his hand.

Did you hear what i said,
I mean what i say.
He wiped out his knife,
Fine have it your way.

He stabs the man once,
The man doesnt even shake.
Instead he lets out a growl,
The thug made a mistake.

His face covers with hair,
His fangs start to grow.
The thug is scared to death,
He backs away slow.

The werewolf jumps at the thug,
Give me money or death you say.
I pick nether,
And i will have it my way.

It takes a little bit,
The man changes back.
He gets in his car,
With his leftovers in a sack.

The light of the sun reflecting off her face,
The moon glow in her eyes,
The sound of your heartbeat increases,
The moment seems to freeze.

A moment of joy takes over the confusion,
You remember the reason of this,
You step away thinking of too many things,
And walk away till the next day.

Systematic Demise

Rest, ever so elusive these days-
My minds images illuminate the obsidian sky,
Emotions flood in full assault on my tranquility-
I so struggle against a misanthropical barrage,
Only magnified by such repressed desires
for what now lay still, quiescent and unattainable.
Exenterate what lies within this heart and soul-
Ever mounting passions beg for redemption,
As does this surrendered heart for absolution…
your loving imagery indeed, my systematic demise.

I dream of you holding me close,
closer than you have ever held me before.
In your arms I felt safe and warm,
untouchable to the evil heading my way.

Hearing you laugh when I told a joke,
never knowing you would have to fall silent in this world.
Silence is all around with dark skies above,
with no shining light life is gloomy.

You watched me grow into a fine lady,
but not without all the tears and sorrow along the way.
But you never complained to anyone,
you would always smile and touch my shoulder.

But that touch meant everything to me,
just knowing I had you makes me shine.
I hang my head and think of the past years,
seeing that you have raised me into what I am now.

When I needed help you were my saviour,
you knew where to kiss my pain away.
But you have left my side as my father,
and as my best friend I could tell my secrets.

You will never be replaced in my heart,
and never forgotten in my eyes.
For I know you walk by my side,
as my guardian angel.
